I have been having problems with NF lately. I was able to play it earlier, but it would freeze after the login screen. Now, right after I click "Play Game", it crashes and it goes right back to Windows. Here are the details of the crash:

Problem signature:

My specs are :

Windows 7 64bit
2GHz
4GB ram
1GB ATI Mobility Raedon HD 5650 graphics card

I have NF North America, most updated version
I just updated my graphics card driver
I have tried a lot of things including Run As Administrator, changed compatability mode, disabled visual themes, uninstalled NF and done a clean sweep of the comp and registry, reinstalled it with just the basic installer and patch. I've even tried the manual patch. Nothing seems to work...

Could someone please help me?

This just started happening to me today. Been playing fine all weekend.  Haven't downloaded anything new, only website I go to besides this is NFL.com.  Don't have firefox.  Wasting event time and membership time, not very happy about it.

I don't know where people came up with firefox fixing the issue. Since I have the 4 top browsers installed on all my systems and have had no such experiance.

Your exception code is "c0000005"

This stands for a access violation.

Aka, your program files folder does not contain the correct file permissions. Uninstalling Firefox just resets the File Permissions in Program Files.

Congratz to all you who uninstalled firefox for no reasons. Simple research solves everything.

Sorry to be a moron, but people need to learn not to post suggestions that actually don't fix the problem and are just loop holes around them.

Now PM your exception errors to me and I'll be happy to tell you whats going on.

Set the permissions for all files and folders in C:/Program Files/SD Enternet to all permissions.

1.) Right click SD EnterNET in C:/Program Files and select "Properties"

2.) Select the "Security" Tab

3.) Select Users (COMPUTERNAME\Users)

4.) Check to see if "Full Control" is checked, here it is not, so we need to click "Edit"

5.) Again Select Users (COMPUTERNAME\Users)

6.) Click the Checkbox for "Full Control"

7.) Click apply and your done

(DO NOT DO THIS TO ENTIRE PROGRAM FILES FOLDER AS THAT WILL CREATE A SERIOUS SECURITY HOLE)
