  • Noob CV120 player

Just got my CV BO to 120 (my first 120) I knew the crew had to be 115 or above to use the 120 ship. However, I didnt know you HAD to fill out all the slots to run it. going fromt he ark Royal, I gained 2 slots. so now I need to get another 2 sailors up to 115. I have 110 IJN sailors. they are the closest. if I level them up can I put them on th UK CV6?




Im so embarassed to ask this, feel like a noob again

Buy a couple cheap Restore to fill ur gaps they are the cheapest sailors to buy and they do help beyond what the nubs think they do so it wont hurt and a easy fix for filler crew

Please explain to this nub how a restorer helps, beyond the 0 SD it adds because the rest of the crew have hit the cap. Many thanks a nub.

SD for ship type(BB6/CV6) stands for Super-Dreadnought.

I dont have 900sd on my usn Midway without one. Maybe since he has UK its different but there are still uses for restorers.

What set up do you have then?

I get 600 SD from US BO, 2 gunners, and 2 support (engineers), I don't know how much SD a 120 fp gives probably not a huge amount but I'd rather have the engine and rep bonus with sightly lower SD (still in the 700+) than a restorer. And if you need SD (not saying you do) in a CV6 then something has gone wrong already and you have probably lost. So IMO still useless even without 900 SD.

  My standard flight crew and set up will give me 782 SD on my Shinano with my CV 6  crew. If I replace one of my repair guys with a restorer, I easily reach 900 SD.

Normal pilots give next to nothing in terms of SD (no special class and "normal" bases). I couldnt tell you how much SD I have on my CV6 without restorers but even with 3 very nice 120 supports its probobly not more then 700ish.

I never really bothered to level any of my usn BB stuff that high since I do not use my CV6 and I have no desire to use overpowered content. I enjoy a challenge and have moved on to other nations for CV now for more exciting dogfights when I can find people that will actually fight and not run away.

I actually agree that they would be a way of this player getting his full comlement, as they are cheapest. It is just a bit of a waste of space.

I suppose the real question I was posing is what do restorers do beyond what nubs think they do? as was posed. I don't think anyone doesn't think restorers provide more SD than other sailors, just that pretty much any other sailor would be preferable to a restorer with high level setups.

I think SD ship means it is a ship created by SD Entertainment,it is not a ship based on history.So  you can find the information of normal and event ships in history,but can't figure out where the beasts called "amagi" or "kaiser" come from......
