  • H44 Guns, 100s or 110s?

Hello, my gunners are approaching 110 and I don't know what to choose. I've tried them both out on the test server for comparing and it seems to me that they have exactly the same range and pretty much the same firepower. What is the difference? Well, the 110s weigh a lot more I guess and have slightly longer reload, but why? What are the advantages of using the 18" guns? Are they better in any way? Should I just stay with the 16.5"?

You may see salvos over 30k damage with the 110s, but played over time you'll begin to notice that you see similar salvos doing damage all over the spectrum. The damage output on the 18s is inconsistent at best.

I leveled to Kaiser using mostly 18", they work great.

difference is the 18" might give you a nice surprise once in a while, they make you pay by a 20k in a critical moment quite often also.

If you get a full salvo on, the 16,5 have a much better consistency and you can be pretty guaranteed on a 37-40k.

i really do hope they beef up KM. We do not always have the longest range now. and we are not that fast either. The only thing i'm liking with the KM bbs have is their better turning force but that's it. If they do not want to increase the damage, maybe it maybe better ifthey can improve range without affecting spread too much. at least we can outgun them a little farther.

KM isnt meant to be faster, just have more OH endurance.

Range is always there. Because its not a mile advantage doesnt mean its not perfectly usable.

Damage is meant to be low. Otherwise would be kinda OP to have that range with good damage. Look at O2 in its tier.

KM ship dont have h4x turning force. Other than AD. which is an italian ship really.

i myself leveled to a kaiser with the dual 18" guns despite how bugged they are and had little to no issues 95% of the time when i attacked enemy bb's and sinking them. as i said before the choice between 100 and 110 guns is PREFERENCE, use what you like more are the 16.5" more stable damage wise? yes but some like the trade off with the 18" guns which i certainly do. Try both sets for a few battles and decide what you feel is better for your play style.

I personally like the 100s better too:
.a fart more range
-faster reload
- better damage consistency

still I played with 18'' for a while, but the bit lower range and especailly the reload were reasons why I didn't like them. Easier to get rushed with that reload....other then that 18'' are worth a try and if you like them better why not use them...
