Pilot abilities have been patched from the old Aircraft Disabled, Fighter for attack and Bomber for defense to how it was originally suppose to be like:

Aircraft is the Attack and Defense ability for Recon

Fighter is the Attack and Defense ability for Fighters

Bomber is the Attack and Defense ability for Bombers (TB and DB)



Under the old system, the best would have been having 12/12 (Fighter/Bomber) Which I have 6 of...



The new and current system, elites and super-vetting are the way to go.

Pilots: US>KM=MN=RM>SN>UK=IJN

FP planes:

US best overall. 

UK bad overall.

IJN good for killing T5 scouts, bad at scouting due to -1 sightrange and overall bad at dogfighting.

KM good for dogfighting and scouting due to high firepower, bad at hunting T5 scouts.

MN average values in all of the stats of the 4 nations mentioned above.

SN bad at hunting T5 scouts, average at dogfighting, bad at everything else.

RM From average to above average stats, so pretty decent FP's.

Conclusion: US has the best FP's followed by RM.

KM and MN are OK.

SN is just below average and IJN & UK are the worst kind. These 3 also happen to have the best DB's or TB's.

definatly do not go KM.. good at dog fighting as long as the other person dont run on you. cause they will out run your bullets (ijn & usa) good sight vesion. but not enough fuel to scout with, so scouting with KM ftrs is out of the question. to slow to kill T-5 scouts, and if you use T-5 scouts on your CV, your T-5 scouts are too slow to get away from usa & ijn T-4 ftrs.

Only true option us USA. Usa T-5 scouts are fast enough to get away from all but IJN T-4 ftrs, and thier T-4 ftrs are fast enough to catch all T-5 scouts. Pluss thier ftrs have enough fuel to scout with, and they have best ftr pilot bonus, and thier planes have best stat in every catagory. (attack, deffence , endurance , speed , fuel , sight range)
