  • NavyField Crashes after launch.

I have been playing navyfield for what has to be coming up on 2 years. I had no problems untill the data file currupt issue came about, but i was able to fix that relatively easily. Soon after that however it started crashing  every now and then, but after they released hackshield i have been completely unable to run it. Navyfield simply ate up my processor like a fat kid eats cake. So i just bought a new Mobo, and processor(Pentium D 3.4Ghz.) And when i reinstalled it, it wouldn't even start. I can update fine,  but after i launch the game, it crashes. I have tried manually patching the last update and i have tried reinstalling multiple times. I still crash after launching.

So what can i do to get this game working? I have spent enough money on this game I'm not going to give up now.

It's a PC
Windows xp 32bit
Pentium D 3.4Ghz(Dual Core)
3Gigs O' Ram

The Game is installed on a Slave drive, normal path after that.
I'm not running it in any compatability mode, but i have tried several and none of them helped.

I've tried  both clean installs and patches.

Like that over and over and over again, each time you load navyfield?

When that happens to me, I just restart the computer.
What I figured out was, that after you crash when playing the game, some files get corrupted, and when you reload navyfield, the files don't get fixed, or replaced.

I'm not much of a computergeek, my theory may be wrong, but thats just what I think.

just wanna share my situation. i was experiencing this issue back then. I got it resolved by deleting the fdlist BUT prior to that i have to reinstall my OS. I've tried to fresh install, clearing the registry, etc. none worked. I even tried to remove the fdlist file at first but i could not find it. So after reinstall its still the same issue, just imagine how frustrated i was. But anyways I did find the fdlist file and deleted and it worked.

I have solved my problem, give this a shot OP.

It seems like the 1324 installer is messed up.

1319 installer works properly, however. Make sure to download that version. You can find it here:

http://navyfieldusa-sdenternet.ktics.co.kr/Download/NF1319.exe

Install it, install manual patch, AND THEN run it for first time and let auto-patch run. Don't run NF until you have both it and the patch installed.

welp that didnt work for me..... im honostly thinking about forgetting about this game.... its a damn free game and people cant get it to run... if it was a pirated game then ok i understand....but this isnt... sorry i quoted you BTW

Did you do a full uninstall using regedit and deleting the folders?

I have tried everything mentioned here, but nothing has worked, even reinstall windows, but I still throws the same error, did anyone else a chance?

No.... but why do i have to do that? wtf is with this company? this game is 6 years old... and they cant even get a complete uninstall? i am thinking that this game isnt even worth the trouble anymore.....
