Manhole

Just get my BB5, but a little problem, it too slow just 33knts

How many engineers should i put on the L2?

If you are right in criticizing Stealth001, then I should be equally right in criticizing you for not leveling up 8 late-classed engineers, because 8 eng + 0 rep can pwn any 5+3, 6+2, or even 7+1 setup. If you don't believe it, try me. 



100 vets is far enough to have only 3 reps. Maybe with 0 vets and +8 reps, he would need the 4th (remember how good UK reps are). Like you said, if you have plenty of money to spend, you don't need all the reps. However, this is somebody asking for a regular answer, and the regular/standard is 2 or 3 reps, achievable for anybody, even those who don't spend money on the game.  



Ok let's do the math.

Elite Repair, boosted, at level 120 (on-time classed), will have Repair stat = 4100; its crew total is close to 1000. Assuming 100 vets, each repairer will have Repair TA = 4100*(100*4 + 900) = 5.3M

Elite Engine, boosted, at level 120 (on-time classed), will have Repair stat = 1500; its crew total is close to 900. Assuming 100 vets, each engie will have Repair TA = 1500*(100*4 + 800) = 1.8M

Now,
5.3*4 + 1.8*6 = 32

I highly doubt the 100-vet BO and the 100-vet Scout and the 100-vet Gunners will provide the last 3M Repair TA. Even when they do, the 4th repairer is needed in this case.

You nailed it there. I guess it depends on how many Vets you use in ur calculations. I usually use 119 vets in this case, cause that can be achieved with adding vets without having to burn crew.

By using 119 vets, the reps + engi together give the cap of 35 Mil TA (34.9 to be exact).
The gunners, scout and BO will give additional ability, letting it go over 36 M ----> waste of ability.

By replacing 1 rep for a 11/12 engineer like he already has, he will reach at least 33,5 Mil TA, that is with all crew except the BO (no clue how much the BO will add, you could enlighten me perhaps?). I'd say that this is a better scenario, as you will have all the OH of the engi, while only being a bit short of rep ability. With that extra rep, you won't have all the OH, and have a waste of rep ability also.

So it depends on how many vets you use in ur calculation, i'd say neither of us can be true or false in this:)
