Is my Lion supposed to go cruise 22 knots with the lvl 100 guns and 4 blinds of ammo on each gun? I have about 60 bulge too. Am I loading the wrong engine or something? Also what speed should the L2 be OHing with 6 lvl 97+ engineers?

Also, when is the UK EBB's coming out?

Your base speed is a function of your ship's weight (# turrets, armor, weight of crew...) and quality of your engies.

My own L2 reaches 23/39 knots with the lvl100 guns with 4 binds HE/1 bind AP, even with only 5 of my 6 engies lvl 100. All sailor slots are filled, and I can fit up to 47 bulge before losing a knot. That is probably due to the fact that my repairs are lighter, as unfortunately they are not yet at level (only between 90 and 94).

So this just means my crew is obese? Btw what is the speed cap for Vanny? 39 OH?

No, I don't think your crew is "obese". You might have too much bulge on your L2.

The speed cap of Vanguard should be higher, either 24/40 or even 25/42 - of course, fully equipped, with 0.2" belt and only as much bulge so as to not lose a knot.

I OH 37 knts with ~40 bulge but I usually carry around 100 which brings me down to 36.

No ship has a natural overheat cap of 36. If your ship has a max overheat of 36 it means your engineers aren't good enough yet to cap that ships OH.

The speed cap is define by base speed of ship not by ship itself. But vany is set with 120lvl to go 24/40, but if you have a little lighter 120 crew i can go 25/42 but with no bulge no belt. (You can put 0.1 belt on ti but it is usefull, for abaut 50% torpedo demage reduction). speed cup is 1.7 of max base speed.
