That's him asking you to write his attention grabbing sentence. As for hating students doing their research.. your views couldn't be further from the truth. I am a student, and I am actively doing research. However, I believe in taking credit for your own work and I am vehemently against plagiarism. Asking someone to come up with a thesis statement or attention grabbing statement is plagiarism.

Crediting them after you used their statement/idea isn't plagiarism.

Chicagobears, not all languages use the English alphabet. Let's see how well can you write in foreign language.

Passing off someone else's research, thoughts, or ideas as your own is known as plagiarism. Whether intentionally or unintentionally.

The President isn't writing a research paper, either. Pointless argument is pointless.
