  • Why Game go from 4 to 1 servers+how to fix

I have been playing this game on and off for well about 10 years, ive seen this game from 4 servers now down too one, idk if the devs and owner of the game care or not but its prety sad, they do NOTHING to actualy FIX the reasons why people are leaving and just do gimicky stuff like event ships and so on.

The problems are simple, TAKES TOO LONG TO LVL SAILORS, when u need over 1-2 mill per lvl and need several lvls to next tier ship and you average only about 20k-40k exp per battle of about 15 min takes way too long and ppl quit, not everyone can play 8+ hours/day on this game so they leave for other games. Also too reliant on CVs for vision and 99.9% of CVs players dont know how to play CV.

Exp needs to be upped, Premium rewards need to be increased, from 40% to 60-75%, and a scaled reward of 1k from lvl 1-40, 2k from 40-60, 3k from 60-80, 4k from 80-100, and 5k from 100-120 bonus exp and credits. Also incresed base exp and credit gain from battles, should not take months to years to lvl to 120. Game could use a graphics update aswell.

The biggest market in gaming is the casual players, this game is currently tailored to the hard core  players and the results are from 4 servers down to one. If the devs/owners of Navufield dont care then sell the game because if Wolrd of Battleships is 1/4 of any good as WoT, Navyfield will be finished.

Anyone else notice during this dice event that durint the weeks theres barely anyone playing, yet during week end when the exp boost is on lotsa of people playing, and dont give the its the weekd day and ppl are working crap excuse because the difference in number of ppl playing on week end vs week day/night is vastly great, less than 10 battle rooms for week days (most of time less than 5) vs the battle are being almost full of rooms during week ends, and the dice amount is same for week end and week day, the ONLY diff is the exp boost.

I don't think the amout of exp/battle is the issue.  It is true that when exp bonus is on, a lot more players are online, it is logic... If you have to choose when to play, you'll play when you can level up faster. But making that exp bonus permanent will only make people reach their goals faster, then get bored and become inactive. The game has very little to do once you've reached the max level.

RADB, true there is very little but there are 7 nations they can lvl, and there are 3  tree they can do (sub, CV, BB) NF would also have to create end game content, like a global map that fleets can fight over where areas give loot (creds, olives, NF items ect) they NEED to do SOMETHING for this game is basicly now an event game, ppl only play when theres en event going on.

Yeah, I'd agree with you. What NF lacks is more modes to play with your friends - other than HA/HD, which is plagued by desyncs and where only the bigger fleets compete.

Other games have the "platoon" function, where anybody can invite 2 others to play beside you. I think that this is quite an important factor for motivating people and keeping server population.

Didn't know that... :)

Do you actually know people using this? And this means you play with the other person, in the same room? on the same side?

@EricIdle

Your friend have to be in the battle channel (out of the shipyard, with his ship ready, seeking for rooms); then when you joined a battleroom and type /invite FRIENDNAME, he will get a pop-up asking him to join your room.

You can do the same with /join if he is in a waiting room.

Note that you obviously need to fulfill the usual requirements of the room to join it, with enough room for his class-ship.

Yeah, I sometimes use that. But it don't guarantee that you will be in the same team as your friend. You might unfortunately still be split.

Thanks a lot for this, t4suki.

So if these commands do not result in people playing side by side, they are useless. They are even counterproductive: if my friend and I are split, but we are still on TS together, that might give us unending possibilities for AB'ing...

That's the fun in competing games that I shall not name here (and whose names everybody knows): facing the enemy team together.
