I think we should be allowed place BB6 CV6 in HQ.

Is there some technical reason why this is not possible?

It's such a time waster moving crews from ship to ship just because you can't place a ship with sailors there.

sounds to me like, they are a hard wired item unlike other ships

Just because the programming doesn't allow that at the moment, that does not mean it can't be done, or we can't ask them to consider it.

It's a shame that these cannot be stored.

A while ago I hit the 75 ship limit cap. Did anyone even know there was a limit?
If these cannot be stored.

Can the cap be adjusted to at least accomodate a few normal ships + every potential Event ship.

I see no need for a 75 limit cap with all the ships / lines / classes / event ships and premium ships that are available.

Would like to see that cap removed.

You haven't been here long, have you? There's a great deal of things that either can't be changed or would require work that would be far too extensive for the benefit of it. We've run into a number of issues like this over the years.

Sorry, wasn't meant to be an insult - Just that we've been stonewalled a number of times when we've tried to fix various game issues. An example being normalizing sub displacement to fix the issue regarding BB shells doing almost no damage.

I'd like to know more about how the suggestions system works.

Do you stonewall us because you think SDE will stonewall you?

Do you filter what is suggested to SDE?

Do you just give your opinion on a suggestion and SDE work independantly picking at random what they decide to look into or not?

Is there any feedback on what they are interested in looking at, currently working on, progress, to do list?

As I say, i'm an optimist, just because something is difficult, does not mean it should not be considered, or not placed on a to-do-list. If it's your opinion SDE will not persue complex issues, that to me would imply they will never do anything about the de-syncs, how depressing is that thought?

Let's face it, if they can fix the de-sync, nothing is beyond them. Rant over! :)

Love Piseog.

No, I don't stonewall you. I speak to the GMs and devs daily as part of my capacity of being the official TeamNF representative (along with VK) to the Test Team. As such, I'm aware of quite a bit more than you guys, and we often do pass good suggestions along.

I definitely don't filter - they read these forums too. Sometimes though, we see good suggestions that could potentially be actioned relatively quickly.

No, I don't give my opinion on a suggestion other than drawing their attention to specific ones that have support and are easy to be implemented.

I'm well aware of their current projects. Aside from what's been officially posted in the 2015 direction post, I'm not allowed to disclose anything further.

Please keep in mind that we're not trying to work against you here. The game has gone through many different developers over the years, and it's left a mess of code that needs to be investigated and worked through before significant changes can be made. That's part of what they're focusing on right now with crashes and desyncs. Hopefully, as the mangle of old code is cleared up, the game will not only run better, but give us the room to do more of the suggestions we'd like to enable.

Again, I'll stress that SDE does in fact read these forums and these suggestions. I'll offer my opinions on suggestions here, but my opinion doesn't count more than anyone elses' - ultimately, I'm a paying customer as are all of you, and I am not a paid employee of SDE. My position is volunteer only.

Thanks for the info and your time Alex :)

It's just such a great game, there is no other like it, hard not to be passionate.
