From what I understand, all abilities are capped. So a 15/10 acc gunner is actually pretty awful since he does not get the reload points he needs and will only reach his acc faster.

Or am I missing something obvious here.

That's why these packs for 1050 olives - 50$! - are not that good a deal.

For me personally, the best gunners are, apart from heroes, 10acc/10rel with 12 repair for all nations except UK, and 12acc/10rel with 10 or 11 repair for UK (classed reload gunners).



The packs aren't great indeed, but with events like these you can get some nice crews. If you have a crew full of super elite repairs and super elite engineers, you should be able to get around with one rep less. My hero US BB crew is already repairless, while still hitting 200 dp/s at 115 :P Normal BVE, just hero stats.

The normal way around you are best off with indeed just neutral sailors and just spend your coins on experts. Wait for a big vet conv event and than burn all the experts you have won. That way you create a crew good enough to take anyone down.

I am just saving all my coins to buy medals... :P I am now at 246 medals, and almost 150 coins. I am going to get this dam EBB6 :P

Their acc growth is sufficient enough but their reload growth is ridiculous. Super Elite Acc is a very good choice since Italy has reload growth advantage..

(BTW I choose reload instead of acc.) :D

A RM BVE 10/10 gunner reaches acc/rld cap at lvl 120. Not sure, but I believe UK is the only nation with a difficult main gun cap.
So when using a Super Elite Repair as gunner you would reach approx. twice the amount of extra repair ability compared with an Super Elite Gunner at lvl 120, while both reach gun cap anyway. 

At least that is what I quickly looked up.
