Thats true Mikolski

You never get any information when they release banning. So i think alot of players can play even if they dont know that.

i know from a reliable source that about 50 or so diehards are keeping this game alive

kudos to them    its the ONLY decent game of its kind

even with ongoing hq problems, my friend says that since he got hard wired cable internet he only crashes when his ship gets sunk(gray colored-max repair)  he now uses windows xp on a desktop 'tower'

lets face it   vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and windows 10 all suck for this game  also, the .net blah blah crap harshes the game  .net updates for 2005 and i believe 2013 are all u need to run ANYTHING so get rid of all other .NET junk

i dont play because i have too many time constraints but i wish i could

regarding the mass bans, this was mostly 2 huge fleets who not only had multi acct members(many many) but who had FLOATING SHARED ACCOUNTS  which has ALWAYS been illegal   not to mention active cash purchasing of high level accounts, also illegal

unfortunately, i know because when i stopped i was approached by one of these members as was a friend of mine   neither of us took the offers

regarding pinnoy(ay) players japox   i think if you logged in late evening you would see many and more returning every day

regarding wait times  i am told the biggest pain is waiting 9 minutes and having an afk host  hence starting over

anyway   these are not opinions but facts as told to me by someone who plays regularly unlike most of the complainers who are apparently never online

i know if i come back i will invite some friends to enjoy the single best naval war game available  problems or not

not really right ..but then again not many  really understood what happened or why. Many of these players had played the game for a very long time back to when you were allowed storage accounts because the storage volumes for one account were small. Navyfield were aware of this and multi account use ....fleets accumulated accounts from members who left the game etc. There may have been accounts sold etc ...but that was a matter for individuals  and not the fault of the  fleets.

When SDE decided to strip out multiple accounts etc..they simply started banning players accounts ,even those who had not traded or used any accounts but their own. They basically removed the two most powerful fleets and their experienced  and active players instead of offering options to continue in the game under the revised protocols.

I believe many .many of those players would have been happy to conform to a set up which was fairer to newer players..but the arbitary and in some cases vindictiveness of those running the game didnt let that happen...

so the game is where it is today..its for others to judge whether this was a successful outcome ,or whether working it out by some reasonable negotiations would have been better.

It's dead because the mods and GMs decided to permaban most of their playerbase using an aribtrary "no multiple accounts family" rule that they started enforcing around Apr of last year.

Why don't they try to list the game on steam? I think that could help get more players.. But they also just need to advertise.. like not only do they not pay for advertising but I looked at their Facebook page the other day and they post like once every couple of weeks!? It's a true shame. They're too worried about getting all their money from prem items.. They need to lower the cost for a premium account. You can't justify the prices they charge when they have no users.. Navyfield really needs a restructure.

That being said, i've made a couple of Navyfield gameplay videos on youtube, they don't have a lot of views but I hope that I can help and do my part of getting new player sign ups. It's my favourite game and I want to see it live on.

Yes this multi family account killed us off as a family playing.

Also killed off anyone playing in a Internet Cafe.

we had 3 family accounts ...mfischer1/2/3

My husbands account was perma banned for forums use and my son's account was deleted my other son's account is still perma banned. He lives away form Home and they said he was not allow to play with us when he visited ..so permaban.

As a family we have now all switched to plays WOWs or WOTS.

I am the only one who now plays NF very rarely when I get bored with WOWs/ WOTS.

Needless to say SDE is not getting any of our gaming money anymore.

We use to all have Prem and buy olives etc... not now.

This, and only this.  They banned family members and literally everyone I know who played the game. Did they get some 'sploiters?  Most likely.  But they also got the bulk of their loyal player base.  GG.

As I understand it, they quietly lifted some bans.  I reached out to the people I used to play with, and no one wants to spend any time here after being crapped on so many times with that blanket ban as a final insult.  Most of them wasted hundreds and probably thousands funding their accounts and just playing them.  At this point, it's not a game problem, but a trust issue.  And that's a very much harder thing to restore.

That said, there isn't any game remotely like this, and I'd love it if this thing somehow came back.  What I'm not up for is getting my chain yanked again after dropping a decade into a game, nor waiting around 9 minutes a pop hoping a partial room will eventually go.

I started this game back in the beta days and I sank a lot of money into it sadly like most said it went pay to win I even worked as a mod for a while.

I played for about 6 or 7 years then gave up

I remember when you were a mod! I was looking at coming back but it sounds dead.
