Wrath of Spring, 6v6 BB1-3 Tournament *Results Posted*

Hello Navyfield Community,
The Event Team will be hosting an open invitation 6v6 competitive tournament during the months of March and April. We welcome all players to form teams and participate in this tournament. You may form teams with any players, regardless of the fleets that they are a member of.
Teams will be seeded randomly into a single-elimination style bracket and will battle against other teams in order to determine which team rules the ocean.
Team captains please email me your team name and roster at [email protected]. Sign-ups will close on March 5th 23:59 PST (Server Time).
We will be live-streaming the team seedings on Wednesday, March 8 and the recording will be available for any players who missed it.
The following posts will contain the rules, teams, and bracket.

Team MF/Hawk, as your team came in first place, your members will get to choose between the following prizes:
- 1st Place: 300 Olives per person and 100 medals (or) Event Ship(s) totaling 800 medals.
Kung Fu Rabbit, as your team came in second place, your members will get to choose between the following prizes:
- 2nd Place: 200 Olives per person and 50 medals (or) Event ships(s) totaling 400 medals.
Finally, Super Noobs, as your team came in third place, your members will get to choose between the following prizes:
- 3rd Place: 100 Olives per person and 25 medals (or) DD-MP.

1. Could you post the list of BBs in each group (BB1-2 and BB3) in order to avoid further disputes when tournament starts. 2.1. Thanks for clarification. 2.2. What about conditions to win the battle. E.g. battle ends with 5x5 or 4x5, or 3BB2 vs 1BB2+1BB3. 3. IMHO, it is much better to either make a rooster of how many players as you wish, or even make a dynamic list with the only condition: if a player has played at least 1 battle for a team, he may not join any other team. Otherwise if a player cannot attend - his team pretty likely will lose. 4. When the dates and times are going to be published?

1. I will be posting a list of BBs soon. 2.2. I don't think that conditions to win the battle are necessary. I believe that 20 minutes should suffice to sink all enemy ships. If not, then we use team attack as the final decider. 3. The reason we did not do a dynamic team is because we wanted to steer this tournament away from being a fleet team based tournament. We want players to be free to decide which team they wish to be on, regardless of the fleet they belong to. We will discuss having a substitute 7th player, however, there will only be 6 prizes given. I will post an update on this ASAP after we discuss this. 4. Dates and Times will be published after we get some teams signed up and get a general idea of when most teams are available. Most likely the dates may be on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. I would prefer to use standard Fleet League dates/times (Sunday at 12:00PST), however, whatever time the majority of the teams are available for will turn out to be the time we use. Also, If your team and the other team agrees to a seperate battle date/time and inform us beforehand, we will facilitate the match.

Guys, you are asking to provide you the list of core 6 players, who should play in the tournament. Currently we are discussing possible single substitute. Meanwhile non time and dates are provided. The playerbase of NFNA server is spread across entire globe. In our fleet, for example, there are good players who in last FL played at 2-4 a.m. on Sunday->Monday night by their time and next day they needed to go to work. I believe such players prefer to know in advance whether they should subscribe on such event or not. 6 prizes per team - absolutely fine and fair (anyway in any battle 6 players are playing. Moreover, RA still hasn't received any prizes for winning last FL :D). However, it's not so clear limiting the size of team to 6-7 player would harm possibility to gather a team from any number of fleets? They may create a team even out of 10 fleets: 1 per fleet, 6 - play and 4 - substitute, players may rotate inside. At the same time a player may take part during his nights from Friday->Saturday and Saturday->Sunday, and leave finals to other in case he wish to have a good nap before going to work on Monday. Thanks a lot for BB list: a few key ships differed from what I thought they would be.

From what i know, I and hmm 4 players already gonna formed up but we lack 1 player so idk i gonna check the namelist again and see how?

The reason we are not allowing substitutes is to encourage players to leave the comfort zone of their fleet to work with other players on the server, or for players who do not have a fleet to have a chance to be recruited to a team. You can still form team(s) with your fleetmates as well. If we allowed for substitutes, some teams may struggle to find players interesting in being a sub for their team, seeing as they will not receive anything if their team wins. This gives an advantage to larger fleets, as they have a larger pool of players that they can reach out to. In regards to the previous FL, since this is a new event team, I have no knowledge of it occuring. I will have to look into it, If you have a link to the forum threads or announcements, I would greatly appreciate them. You can PM those to me. I will provide an update for the possible dates/times for the matches in my next update.
