  • Critical Error: Cannot Find Application Exe File

first i open my launcher then "current version is different from game server"..
i close my navyfield, restart  my PC then "cannot find application .exe"..
i uninstalled my game,download and installed again...
at first it was smooth running my game for about an hour..
but the time when i feel my game was laggy while in battle for about 3 games and then
my game crashed..and when i open again navyfield laucher it says
"cannot find application exe"..SIGH!!!

...this is one of the reasons why i stopped playing navyfield for about 5-6 years ago with my first account..i hope i can open again my game.. tired of installing and uninstalling navyfield..
and i stopped to purchase/buy olives in store even tho i really need the stuff in store and help this game continuing more by buying items.i only want to show how i feel about this issue. i hope this will be solved..and played navyfield conveniently..thanks

How many people dont have the expertise to do this or follow an instruction set like these posted.

Then I am sure people will run their PCs with out AV and that is so dangerous today.

Another SDE fail. Why do they have to do this. I am sure their reasons are justified but this is gonna kill the player base again.

As I stated above. How many people are at a decent PC tech level to do this ? It took me three attempts to get this to work. 

I had to do the exclusions numerous times. Then manually download the patch. Run the manual patch. Accept that the files were Trustworthy through Norton as it STILL was blocking something. Are they trustworthy ??????? Then I had to run the Efuns game updater (NF Launcher) to load the most recent game patch. Start the game and it finally worked.

1 Hour of my life wasted.......



Actually it's not our problem that some non top tier anti virus consider that files encrypted are virus. They lack the ability to scan deeper. 

Please add navyfield.exe and main.dll to exclusion list or simply choose another better anti virus such as Kaspersky.

This is without a DOUBT the statemet of the year. Since when is NORTON antivirus a NON top tier Antivirus. WTF ?

Thats Funny. Made the top 10 in the world list.......

The above problem hit me earlier todsy with my latest updates to my anti-virus programs, Avira on my desktop PC and Avast on my laptop.

On my PC I uninstalled Navyfield and re-installed it.  When I tried launching the program I received a security alert message saying,
"Access to file 'C:\Program Files\SDEnterNET\...|navyfield.exe' containing the pattern of 'TR/Fuery.nbemw' was blocked.  

We moved the file to quarantine."

I could still get as far as the login screen but when I entered my details a message saying "Hacking attempt was blocked" appeared.

Now when I try to log in I just get automatically disconnected from the server.

Does Navyfield contain the named virus?

Does anyone have any ideas what to do, please?

1.open your antivirus program (lower right of task bar you can find the icon)

2.  Find the file that your antivirus quarantined.

3. remove it from quarantine

4. tell your anti virus to add a exception for that file

5. repeat steps 1 thru 4 as needed.

Thank you jvenable38.  Your advice helped a little.  I restored C:\Program Files\SD EnterNET\NavyFIELD\NavyFIELD.exe  and C:\Program Files\SD EnterNET\ENFUNS Updater\Downloaded\NAVYFIELDUS\NAVYFIELDUS 1520-1523\NavyFIELD.exe from the Quarantine and put both in the exceptions for the System Scanner and Real Time Protection.

I can now get past the Log in page into the Neutral Harbour for a few seconds before I am disconnected.  This means that I can earn an Honor Medal bur I still cannot play the game.

I had the same ingame problem with navyfield.exe and also navyfield app update preparing failure.  Problem fixed when i used all of these methods

Simpler fix is for SDE to fix the code signing on the latest patch?

Look not that I am concerned but the enfs updates is signed with a expired copyright (2006)

Any changes since that date are not copyright protected.

Goes fo this web site content too, eula...etc

it should be 2006-2017

Following my latest reinstallation I cannot now receive any updates.  Also the name of the EFUNS Updater has changed and I cannot download the Patch.
