Hello Navyfield Community,


We are glad to announce that we have finalized the rules and tournament setup, the first match will take place by the end of This Week (Sep 24th).


This post is arranged in the following order:

A. Game rules

B. Referee rules

C. Winning conditions

D. Tournament setup

E. Registered teams and Group info

F. Match Schedules

A. Game Rules 

01. Each team will consist of 5 BB5s from different nations. 

02. Each team is allowed to use up to 10(old rule 8 ) registered NF accounts during the tournament. 

03. No account sharing among teams. 

04. No use of premium items (i.e. Mines, Smoke, Premium HH). 

05. Each ship can have no more than 1 recon pilot on board. 

06. In case of a player crashing within the first minute of the battle, the battle will be restarted with the same ships as before. If the player crashes after the first minute, the battle will continue.

07. A rematch, due to but not limited to desync, will be restarted with the same ships as before. 

08. Disagreement regarding insufficient violation evidence or different interpretation of game rules will be negotiated among both team captains and the sponsor (referee from CHNB fleet), decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.

09. Since players from different timezone participate in the tournament, we chose 0700 PST (when it’s daytime from America through Europe to East Asia so that no player would need to get up at 3am) on every Sunday to be the default match time. 

10. We encourage matched teams to negotiate for a match time that better fits their players’ schedule, but the match Must take place by the end of that week (23:59 PST every Sunday). In case of failure to reach agreement on an alternative match time, the match will take place at the default time.

11. Map: No way out I


B. Referee rules

12. CHNB will Not provide referee for every game played during the tournament, we however recommend team captains to find their own third-party in case of accident (e.g. desync). 

13. In case of disagreement involving any teams from CHNB fleet, we will make sure there are referees from other teams presenting during the negotiation.

I have written to PIXIES on Monday or Tuesday to discuss the preferable date&time, but didn't receive any response, so I have asked my team to be on Saturday 07:00 PST and I believe they have planned their personal time accordingly.

Since the rules were changed this night (I was asked yesterday by one of my teammates, so I checked yesterday in the evening the default day of week was "Saturday") I cannot guarantee my team is able to play this Sunday, since some already answered they have scheduled game for today and other personal businesses for tomorrow.
So I suppose the match RA vs PIXIES has to be played:
- either today at default time, which was during entire week since rules were finalized and published,
- or next week (luckily it is small group).

Hi, Andreyeff.

I'm the one who have written to you to inform that the default time needs to be corrected from Saturdays to Sundays.

Just as I said in the e-mail, 0300 PST on Saturdays are the time for HA/HD of  Tokyo Harbor, thus some of the tournament participant will have troubles repairing their ships.

I (rapier_63) planned to set the default time on Sundays due to the reasons I mentioned above, but the actual writer of the Game Rules, andy_366, has mistakenly written "Saturday" instead. And I must also apologize to you Team Captains for not going through it thoroughly.

Luckily, though I have notified all the Team Captains of the Default Time Change the same time I wrote to you, the captain of your rival this week, PIXIES, haven't ever read it this moment ( 0444 PST, Sep 23rd).



That means both of you (RA & PIXIES) are ready to play the first Game today, or they decided to abstain in the first round. It doesn't have to be postponed to Sunday.

Sorry again for our carelessness.

Hi,

I would like to raise a question on 9H_No1 captain change.
I am terribly curious why the former 9H_No1 team's captain hasn't done it previously.

Currently in this thread I see:

Team#6. 9H_No.1

Captain: liming

I have negotiated about the time for RA vs 9H_No.1 match to Sunday,22.10.2017, 08:00PST with liming, since he has reached me and he was shown here as team captain (and still is currently shown as captain in current thread).

But later on I was reached by many players from 9H_No.1 initial team (5 players out of 8), which state team captain change was illegal, and hippo666 (the former captain) is still considered by their team as team captain. I am really astonished by the situation because:
1. I find very strange that event organizators changed team captain without agreement with former team captain and the team members (at least majority, i.e. 5+ out of 8).
2. I find very strange that former captain (which many players call as "real captain") hasn't posted anything here about the event lead captain change. As well as none of 9H_No1 team members did the same.

As a captain of RA fleet team:
I am very confused about this situation.
Since the default time is tomorrow and the time, agreed with liming, is also tomorrow, but 1 hour later, RA is ready to play against 9H_No1 team, which is lead by any of you. But, please, clarify between yourself, who is the real captain.
Since the initial 5 team members of 9H_No1 (including hippo666) has written to me and confirmed, hippo666 is the real captain, I am more keen to count captain change from hippo666 to liming illegal.
Therefore the match on 22.10.2017 at 07:00PST against hippo666's team to be more appropriate, since he was the initial team captain. As well as I would like to ask the prefered format: Best-of-3 or Best-of-5, as it was stated in rules initially.

If the issue really exists, I also would like to hear other teams' captains and their opinions on current situation.

The match is today (Sunday) at 08:00PST
