every week since steam launch as an xp os system player has been adventurous at best......ridiculous at worst.......after the steam launch we had disconnect because we were hacking......after that we had issues just getting it to start and run.............we've jumped through flaming hoops to do just that........with no help from.....NF..........we figured it out for ourselves....and this week we are back to where we started......d/c from server for hacking....come on guys just once make it easy

You better work hard...if you think you have patched a solution you would be wrong.

Crashed many times today...in battle, loading, in waiting room....they're all still here.

When they made first patch for XP users it was great minor disconnect problems and everyone was happy STEAM and simple XP users. But wait lets make life difficult lets make some patches that will need discussions on forum and there fore we will make more new patches. You have to be blind not see that. Any way I think they want to cut off XP users completely.

While it may not be popular with a few who still play using XP, but can you blame them?

Microsoft released XP in August 2001, over 16 years ago, and stopped supporting/updating 3 years ago. Since then Microsoft has released Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10.


How long should SDE keep supporting an outdated operating system that is not supported by the manufacturer?

Better yet, How do you think it is even possible to make code compatiable between 6 different operating systems and have them work flawlessly? 

I sympathize with those who cannot afford to purchase a "new" computer/operating system, but you can't blame SDE...you can't "please" a small segment of the player base and have a negative impact on the rest.

With that said, I don't have any confidence that this game will ever be "crash free". How many times have you heard, "We are working on Bug/crash fixes" and will soon patch a fix? Only to have a new batch of bug/crashes.  Every group has "tried" to fix something only to fail.

Don't expect this group to be any better, but if removing support for XP users makes it better for the majority, then so be it.

Bamaman thx for the answer just wanted to say I dont want to be rude or some sort of that just nex time when you launch NF plz turn off XP SP3 compabillity mode XDDDDDD
Sorry forgot to say that the only thing I see it now is to go playing on a Korean server hope they wount kick me I will try to behave normaly.

Plenty of good quality Refurb Win 10 64bit NF capable PCs on Ebay for $100 or less. If you cannot afford that. How can you afford Internet? !!!!!!!

If it works, why get rid of it?

Hell, this game is nearly as old as XP!

Should we all just stop playing this game because there are newer games out there?

Ok I will say it simple as possible. Why I need to buy and install win7 or 10 and run the game in compability with Windows XP SP3, why can`t I just play on XP SP3 as I am allready mached the compability. Offcourse if you say that win7 or 10 with compability mode is different from just running the game on installed XP SP3 then I am sorry. I guess I just don`t know what computer is, guess it is just a plastic box with keys on it.
