With no scout capability, I can't count how many times I have been sunk in my Nelson from unseen forces shelling me from the darkness.

No scout = Early death

Big guns do nothing if you can't aim them at a target you cannot see.

I played the Nelson with 4x14"N, Prince of Wales Guns.
Less range but fantastic spread and nice damage output.
Try it out, if you like.

i wud prefer the nelson... u can chuz quads or the 16" guns, both have great firepower. and the scout thing, well we hav to learn to fight blind sometimes.. makes the game fun

I haven't played for half a year, but if there were no changes to the Hood, then the beast can go 42knts... Add scouts and awesome turning force, the choice is easy.

how about decrease the size of the HOOD so it would be a bit more survivable in a GB room

Nelly for GB style games. No scouts does suck but doesn't make a bg difference if you have a smart enemy CV camping fighters above you or a smart friendly CV doing the same.

Nelly is smaller and tougher. Superior range vs H44 sized hitbox and ridiculous APHC value, it just ain't worth it. (Unless you only plan on playing in BB3 rooms)

Was looking through these topic on Hood.

I already hate O Pro 42 due to speed not making up for it's size and BB3 range IMO.

I'm probably going to hate Hood too right? =__=
