New Player question

Just started playing a couple weeks ago, and this is my first post here. Anyways, I wanted to ask how much of a disadvantage having two main gunners classed reload first would be for a USN BB down the road?
Apologies if this is the wrong forum for such a question.
Thanks for any advice.

So far I've gotten up to an Atlanta and have it set up for AA. It has been going pretty good in the money making department, but it is still slow going compared to my leveling right now.
Some trick to get creds : Ask if anyone has spare points in a GB. Many high level players, mostly CVs, have tons of them, and will gladly give you a few hundred ks. Use them to roll +12 neut and sell them once they are lvl 6 for about 250k-300k each (altough might be more nowadays, been a while I checked the neut market)
To trade, neuts have to be level 12, classed as nation, and job, ie... armament, support etc.
false. They can be lvl 6 through 11 and traded as neut. Passed lvl 11 (so 12 onward) they must be classed nation-wise and first job wise to prevent "BO" sales.
I thought you detested people that spewed false information?

Didn't used to be like that at all, and didnt see why they would change it. I'd very much like to get the patch notes of when it was changed. Now let the big people discuss, and if you're nice you might get a cookie.

Believe the patch was late 09 early 10, unfortunately the patch notes are buried in the old data section and my search on old data doesn't work.

It was changed in a rather clever ploy to increase elite sales.
The only way to collect very good Neuts for a new nation that's coming out is to roll them, a lot won't do that. Come launchday you won't be getting the best neuts( 12/11 eng/reps, high rep gunners etc) or even good neuts on the market so you're more likely to shell out for elite's instead.

that would actually make sense. Also I suppose prevent direct elite sales. Thats sad since it was a good way for new player to earn credits without begging and being useful to the game economy early on.

Patch ver. 1.271 That was ninja patched with elite. They didn't even use the word "neutral" so it evaded my notice back then. Went on a break not too long after. I guess it confirm the goal was to "prevent" elite sales. Thats dumb, buy an elite lvl 1, level it to 12,or buy directly a lvl 12, class it for them and trade, asking for the points in compensation. That just put the hax on neut trade in order to boost elites sales, under a nice smile. Quite litterally we got our elites to be tradable, and HOP! ninja reach-around.

It was discussed quite thoroughly on the forum, at the time, so it wasn't a ninja patch. You took your break not long after TF fell apart, correct?

I actually went to nelson when it opened, but didn't go on the forum a lot, played a bit, then took on and off till january, and took a full 5 month break. On nelson it was pretty much everyone do their own crew, so neut trade was absent in the first place.
