  • SS5 support crew question

SS5 has 5 support slots. 2 are taken by planesman and sonarman. For the other three should i have 3 Engineers or 2 Engineers and 1 Repairman? I intend to keep my gunner.

I've always believed that 1 HE defense works better than just 0.2". For UK that's 0.3" and everyone else it's 0.4".

as far as i know its 0.2 for all nations, atleast for KM i remember a test of tbs vs. GZ1 which showed that 0.2 reduces torp dmg by 50%. But i have to admitt i am a bit unsure about it.

No, you are right 0.2" is the magic number. Might have to look into bulkhead instead of extra belt.
