  • Game Mods: Your macro and you.

Please use your TNF msgs and macros to remind people about events, forum happenings and new features such as autostart. Many people have not been on in a while.  It would help cut down on afk host fear mongering.

They should use the login page as a news page. I suggested it a long time ago on the old forums, and it is also on the new forums:-

Yes its a good idea. But it still limits exposure. More positive GM interaction with in game announcements and reminders would be effective with the amount of people waiting for battles to start. It would give the mods more of a serve and protect aura rather than the "I'm eatin' donuts till I can find someone to give a ticket to".

Is this not being done now, no?

I don't think "Server shut down in 30min" counts nor the once a month monster ship room call.

Not sure how it limits exposure, it is there for every player to read if they want. Plus, it stops players being annoyed with all the spam ingame.

A TNF msg on the hour about updates and events I don't think could be considered spam.

Not everyone is online on the hour though. At the login is far better as everyone will see it.

I would rather TNF would stop spamming bbs messages. Being spammed about stupid secret events I dont care about is annoying.
