Everybody in NF says
"KM armor is not good" - "use 0,2 on deck and belt, no more, so you can have good speed" - "KM have more range"
"KM have faster ships"

I was tired to hear that “universal truths” and run a little analysis about this myths.

Myth 1 - Range: is real that KM have more range than other nations, but at the same time KM shells have, usually, less damage.
True, but not useful in practical combat situation because target are moving.

Myth 2 - Speed: If 1-2 knots in same ship level make a difference, really don´t know

Myth 3 . ARMOR (this is the key point): The big problem that KN has is armor.
Most players will agree with me that when you fight against a Lion 1 with your H39 and hit him, Lion keep moving to you.
But, Lion hit H39 2.3 times, you go to the bottom.
This make me think, why KM armor is so ineffective?. I use RN armor as Base.

I don't understand the point either.

You seem to be saying that people are wrong to say KM armour is bad. But you back that up with evidence showing that it is inferior in every way...

KM need only speed for survived, need minimal 37 kt.

For amour, u can better put only bulge on.
KM need other game style then RN or US. its more defense ship.

You are doing it wrong.
KM can be played as one of the most offensive nations of all. Against any ship of your Tier or below play offensiv! Push them (dont rush). Dont let those nastly L2 drivers dream of starting to rush. Engage them when they are just driving along the Battleline. Dont wait till he starts a real rush because then u might get in trouble.
USN, IJN (and SN) are the defensive Nations. MN and RN are for rushes but KM can push over the whole distance. You should be the one engaging. Sure u shouldnt over do it so u catch a volley or two from USN or IJN, Neither u should sleep and dont realice a RN or MN ship starts rushing.

I see many H44s driving very defensivly and thats why they fail.

I think the primary thing about KM's speed is not their hard OH speed, but rather the endurance of being able to stay at that speed.

0.2 belt and deck is okay to have on, because it gives you a little more resilience against the odd frigate/destroyer that should be picked apart by escorting players

Of course, that requires moltke drivers to stop being stupid and actually put the 11" guns on

u realise L2 has pretty much h44 range and added its hangtime if the L2 knows anything..... the h44 can not push at all and sometimes even an L2 can range a h44 depending on how the h44 plays

Are you high?

I outrange L2 in the H39. the H44 is able to range the QV and then some.

hangtime changes range and the L2s that get ranged by h39 just suck...... dont know how to use the insane range + hangtime to their advantage

Slinging? even 1 on 1s are possible well maybe not against very good L2s. I drive that way, never end belw 150k and regulray do 200k+. Just a recent fleet war of AA vs. BAP i scored 330k attack playing that way, survived and that was with 12 bb5 on each side and i was mostly up against L2s.
Maybe i have to admitt if u havent hit Speedcap driving defensivly is okay but as soon as u have hit it and u still dont push you wil have a long grind with lots of loses and low attack scores.

KM has the most range? wrong for the H44's case. While its guns shoot the farthest an L2 outranges it because its hitbox is so wide. Unless this has been fixed
