Specifically, it seems that players running Windows 7 with lower amounts of RAM (less than 4GB) often experience these issues more than others and for them the best suggestions are to defrag the hard drive and to make sure not to minimize NF once loaded.
The Windows 7 code patch is our dev's 1st priority at this time and should be completed soon. Once it is updated to the server it should hopefully improve your conditions. If I hear of any update or a new suggestion I will let you know.

Ram isnt the problem. I have 16 GB ram, 750 GB HDD, and 1 GB graphics card and I've been getting bad lag spikes for the past 2 weeks. I also have the setting set correctly to run this game on windows 7. Before that, I had next to no lag whatsoever.
So this is an SDE issue. Something they added screwed something up and caused lag issues. It also added to the crash problem during the AA vs BS Harbour assult that was lost because all black sun members crashed with none of the AA members crashing. Now this could be because AA was opening rooms they already won in HT row, but thats another issue SDE needs to fix.
*Edit*
The lag started 2 weeks ago with that patch about the test server. When I started the normal updater, it ran, gave an error message, then restarted and worked fine. I bet SDE messed something up when they did that. That would be the reason for that error, and for the lag.
It's probably the key give away that they messed something up, but was over-looked because after it happened, the game started fine. I know I ignored the error until I thought of it now.
