  • Gun Lines patch (V.1337)

3. Guide line will be displayed the same as gun's maxium range. 

   
    If players use two or more different guns, the very front gun range will be set
   
    as the maxium guideline.

 

Does this mean you no longer have to adjust your Bo's ability to adjust sight lines? Or to see shells land?

You still have to lvl the BO to actually spot the shells where they land, but that is the only reason to now touch/improve a BO.
This also removes the one drawback that engineers had as BO's, their stupidly long guidelines.

Combine that with the RM AD and you got yourself a winner that will revival or even eclipse the pre-nerf IM.

so wait a sec.......i dont need to BVE my BO anymore to see shells land?

 

and if it makes it easier to use a rep in BO slot on PBBs, i am all for it, however, this just means people gonna throw their BOs (as unclassed sailors) on PBBs with their elite reps they turned into hi lvl engys anyhow......oh wait werent we already doing this?

I tried hard to maintain the guideline a bit SHORTER than the actual range to against rush ship, but this idea completely waste my effort before. I would say there should be any alternative option, such as selecting the function in F10 page. Otherwise, it will only discourage me to keep playing.

The guideline patch will not be implemented at this time. 
So now it's time to work on it and improve it.
