Hello everybody. I'm a new player. I really like Navy Field and I'm still in the run for new ECVs.

 

I chosed the germans because I respect them, they were the best nation from WW1 and WW2. I had a good crew till I screwed everything by classing my sailors wrong for a future Aircraft Carrier.

 

Now I started a new crew with good stats and now I know when to class them and I am here to ask you my fellows, can a young Aircraft Carrier captain like me be one of the bests if I will not have Elite Sailors?

 

My future bombers have all +11 at bomber stats and fighters same at fighter stats but its a big difference between normal sailors and elite ones? Can I have the possibility to beat the elite fighters?

Its true there is a difference between +11 Fps and elite Fps, but what really counts are the vets on it.
100+ vets more count more than the 240 points of shown ability.
3700 shown ability ( lvl 120 +11fp) to 4000 shown ability ( elite Fp) makes a difference of less more then 10%. 100Vets extra make an diefference of ( don´t know how much right now) lets say 45% to the shown ability. There is no treu ability cap for FPs, try to get as much VETS on it as possible, 40%

Also it worthless to have the best fighters ever seen if you don´t have an eye on them.

Every T3 fightersquad kann kill your elite T4 fighters if you let them drag your fps around.
In the worst case your fps follow them directly into another squad of fps which will kill
yours while they follow the other planes.

And 3 squads with 3 fps each are better in a dogfight than 1 squad with 9 fps in it. They will support each other while in the other case all 9 planes will follow a single enemy plane untill it is shot down.

Don´t let them circle around with enemy FPs, if you see that... move your FP.
They will aim another target and kill it, or will be killed if the other Fps are much better than yours.
Or drag the enemy FP away from your BBs, if the other cvs lets them draged away.

Bomber ability only matters at low lvl.
+11 bombers will hit their targets as well as boosted elite bombers.
and they will (sooner or later) also be almost AAW imune.
( don´t know if they do more dmg per bomb/torp with higher skill/base/vets/boost..)
