I have reposted Adalbert's great guide here, due to the fact that the Old forum data does not correctly order the post. Which renders to most people the guide unreadable since some people can't understand reading post in reverse.

To help ease confusing, this guide is reposted here until the Old Forum Data is reordered to how it was originally on the old forum. This post will then be deleted. Or if the great Adalbert returns, this post will be deleted so he can repost himself and update if he desires.


Note some information in this guide is out dated, but as a whole is the most correct guide on ability and caps we currently have a very valuable asset to any player level and grinding sailors.

This is the first time I notice that sentence. Has this been fixed?

On NFEU, many players are convinced this is the reason why you should keep your gunners not far away from the acc cap - meaning, at higher levels, you have to reduce your acc true ability in order to not get the overflow.

Anybody who knows about this?

Ability overflow was never an issue on NFNA as far as I'm aware, it definitely isnt now (or my SN gunners would probably be screwed), dunno how it came about on EU or if it was even true.

The NFEU Ability overflow bug does not exist outside of NFEU.


Its something eFusion added themselves...






And yes, they recently did some fixes to the Old Forum data, that is why the SD picture is visable again. When I copied the guide, the Old Forum Data feature was really broken. A few of the post were nothing but raw data with zero formatting.

I'm still convinced that even levels are more accurate than odd. It always seems like when my gunners level up (particularly between 110-120) the accuracy gets worse then better. I don't know if this is just my perception though.

So, correct me if I am wrong here. I am using the ability calculator from the other sticky.
The forumular to calculate the true ability should go:

( ( 4 * Vets) + Experts) * ( Total / Max ) * Ability

Whenever I check that with the cap the number is magnitudes lower despite me running the calculation with +15 crew members.

What am I doing wrong here.
