Sorry, I have no clue what I'm talking about....  please enlighten me, but first understand my reasoning:

1) I play ALL of my T5 scouts at 0 altitude so two things matter to ME: Speed, AAW immunity. I don't care about fuel duration or  if you're a CV player and shot 20,000 fighters down with your scout.

Italian T5 scout the worst : 664 speed (worst) cant escape ANY fighters, only stays alive if I "circle of death" with other fighters that ALWAY catch him. AP defense 11 (compared to others 20+), Offensive Firepower (21 vs 100-105).  Garbage AAW immunity. My pilot? Highest Aircraft ability of any of my T5s. He's gimped a little bit, but sucks the most.

UK T5 scout - Great speed, BEST durability, BEST AP defense (may or may not factor to AAW immunity; I'm not expert like you). Pilot? WORST ability due to lightening for AW QV setup. Hmm must be the plane, definitely not the pilot. Worst sight radius, but I don't care.. He's a tank, lasts long.

US T5 Scout - MMM mustard color (easy to spot), best speed, but fighters still catch him? tie Durability with KM but less AP defense ... at 0 altitude, seems to get shot down more than KM, and with 100 vs 105 Offensive fire power, my KM scout shoots more lower tier scouts down than US.

I'd put the Amagi as a line fighter, what with the guns having the obnoxious hang time they do and all. Can't really rush with it, so it's more defensive like kaiser and the 24. Just my view on it though.

UP41 does NOT own QV on everything...

Surely UP41 has longer range, faster reload, 1 more turning force, etc, but QV 
1) Can run at 42 knt with crew modification, so outspeed UP41;
2) If neither QV nor UP41 gives up AA/HH ability, then QV has more OH time because QV can save at least 1 more support sailor for Engineer;
3) QV has the option to go AW in GB; more error-tolerant.
