  • Upcoming plans for helping new players

1.      Change new player default sailors from 11 base to 12 base. (still non-tradable)

 

2.      Blitz level change to 1- 60. Great battle change to level 41- 125.

 

3.      Level 1- 40 players can get 70% xp from mission rooms. Mission rooms still cannot gain experts.

 

4.      Getting experts in battle will be easier.

 

5.      Blitz rooms start with 8 players server will input 6 destroyers AI bots. 9 players - 5 bots, 10 players- 4 bots, 11 players- 3 bots, 12 players+ no bots.

 

6.      New type of sailors for sale, Name: Blitzkrieg sailors, base 13 in his speciality (Potential, reload, accurate etc ) and max level set at 55. Players who like to play with small ships can participate in blitzkrieg rooms.
 

7.   Level 1-60 Crew get 300% xp, credits, points in Blitzkrieg rooms. 
 

8.      Create new neutral nation, with neutral DD, CL and CA, only Blitzkrieg sailors can operate these new ships. These new ships can enter Blitzkrieg and Great Battle and they are good in Anti Sub(DD CL) and Anti-air(AA).  More different nation’s small ships will be made later.

The problem is that the BB1-2 level 61 - 79 including PBB are killing every ship in blitz from double the range and treating the level 1-40 players the same way you want to have the BB1-2 players protected from.

Blitz should be a training ground for a new player and players leveling new crews.  Sure Farming in blitz can be fun and selfish, I know I used to do that at times, and after a while, I would get every player coming after me torps and guns, and they would have to work to kill me. They would also get nice XP for attacking the larger ship and winning.  This is how they would learn to use range or proper torp aiming, or dodging.  

Now even a PCL can rule simply due to the lack of skill and knowledge in blitz. We need new players, and we need to provide the training they need to win in GB

So lets give this a try and see how it goes.

Okay, I get what you're saying, but the Blitzkrieg Sailor is going to be just as bad: elites who never level out of Blitz. If you want to protect the level 40 and under population, you'll have to do something else.

If you don't want to send BB2s in with level 30 cruisers, fine. But don't leave them in the dark either. Skirmish mode is still dead; my fleet tried to get one going earlier but utterly failed. Make an experience boost for Skirmish. Give ships with crew level 40-83 an experience boost in Great Battles. Make bots in Skirmish. Please don't forget that the BB1-BB2 grind is just as capable of chasing players away.

Would that help?

I think having a Blitz v2 would work. If we wanted to take the level 50-60 bracket and put them with the 60-80 bracket, that would help the 60-80 bracket and 1-40 bracket - the former would have more players and could make games more often, the latter would have less higher-level ships that could bully them. Make the level 50-80 mode (maybe it can just stay as Skirmish) give more experience than Blitz, that way players will have incentive to play with the BB1s and BB2s but can still play level 60 blitz. To top it off, give a 200% experience modifier when the change is introduced to incentivize people to play it.

It is a better way that not allow BB, CV and SS to acess Blitz but cancel level restriction.
You can also take this idea into consideration for Blitz V2.

2.  This change has killed off my Class Y anti-submarine frigate.

3.  A good idea.  May the players also earn a few credirts and points in Mission rooms, please, because new players frequently run out these very rapidly?

5. May we have Skirmish rooms with robot ships also, please?

8. Also a  good idea.  However, will you please increase the number of Neutral ships we are allowed to own, so that we may have more than 6?  Will you also increase the number of pages allowed in our HQ's, please?

i like this post and i agree with everything ! but i have a question, why dont you put a scout in original crew? the reason i say this is because nobody sell a scout in lvl 100... or lvl 70+

their needs to be a crew guide added for a standard setups aswell ,also new players including old are and have been left out on crew building when begining NF " like when i started NF starter crew was all +10 bases +14 POT " and now their yellow sailors with specific skills and still not enough sailors for a propper crew such as scouts extra eng rep .

All in all you start NF with a DD/CL size crew while you need 14 for BB6 or CV6 .

 

i still want the AAW Ability fully activiated so i can use my IJN Machine Gnrs and activate the de-activated sailors i want a Drill Master aswell
