well this is gonna be sad...in an attempt to try and get around the issue I did the following I set up one of each machine....windows xp 3 gig single core 1 gig mem...windows xp 32 2.2gh duel core 2 gigs. windows 7 ultimate 64 2.0 ghz duel core with 3 gigs of memeory.....

using the latest downloads and patches from the website....All went data corrupt and or missing spr file.....applied same methods I helped test and developed.......

same results test were done over 5 hours......so ummmmm FRAK

Wanted to look ingame after 6 months and its nice to see that NF doesnt work.

I tried the solution above and installed / deinstalled it 3 times so far.

It seems NF needs another 6 months break ...

i did everything on this post on my other PC but it still not working. Good thing the other PC is still working they are same brand and specs. Cant they just give another new full client that will fix everything? Im worried on my other computers that it will get infected with the same problem.

Having this issue still after several tries. I'm on Vista 64. Here's a detailed list of what I did and what is happening:

- Did the uninstall, file mop-up & registry pruning.
- Deviated from the instructions by using http://navyfieldusa-sdenternet.ktics.co.kr/Download/NF1324.exe rather than build 1319.
- I ran the launcher, it didn't download any updated files. Exited and re-ran launcher, same thing, so I started the game.

The first time I start the game after a fresh install it brings up a dialog window saying ITFPDITM2.spr is corrupt. Re-running the launcher it downloads three files, the second one being 2900kb (approximately matching ITFPDITM2.spr's size). The problem is that if I exit the launcher and re-run it here, it will re-download those three files including the 2800kb one. I made sure it was running as administrator and had sufficient permissions to write to the game directory.

After waking up today I found new instructions on this thread: deleting the FDLIST file. I tried again with this new step:

- Started with a fresh installation.
- Deleted FDLIST file.
- Running the launcher after a fresh install, it again downloads nothing.
- Started the game, saw the "Hacking Attempt Detected" dialog.
- Ran launcher, downloaded 15-file update (most were under 1MB but the first file was 24825kb).
- Exited launcher and re-started, it will re-download the same 15 files no matter how many times I restart it if I don't run the game between tries. Behaving the same as before but with different files being downloaded.
- Started the game, received "Data File Corrupted" message when attempting login.
- Deleted FDLIST file again.
- Running the launcher, it downloads nothing.
- Started the game, saw the "Hacking Attempt Detected" dialog.
- Ran launcher, it downloaded 16 files (one more this time) including the 24825kb file.
- Exiting and restarting launcher re-downloads those 16 files.
- Started the game, received "Data File Corrupted" message when attempting login.
- Ran launcher, it downloaded 35 files, none of which were very large.
- Started the game, received "Data File Corrupted" message when attempting login.
- Ran launcher, it downloads the same 35 files.
- Applied Patch1324.exe
- Launcher downloads 37 files, and shows a message about elit3e soldier medals being fixed in 1.325.
- Exited and re-ran launcher, it downloads 35 files.
- Started game, dialog window says ITFPDITM2.spr is corrupt.
- Ran launcher, downloaded 3 files, 2900kb.
- Restart launcher, same download?3 files, 2900kb.

I will try again later with a clean install from NF1319.exe. Going to start downloading NF1319.exe now so that later on I can try from a clean install using 1.319 and patching it to 1.324, since that's what the current workable version says to do.

It worked for me! Here was the process I followed, my system specs, and the files it downloaded for me:

Windows XP SP3; Core 2 Duo E8500 @ 3.16GHz; 3GB RAM; nVidia GeForce GT 220

1) I downloaded the latest NavyFIELD client via FTP
2) I uninstalled NavyFIELD and completely removed it because a blank screen appeared and the game froze when I attempted to run it
3) Upon reboot, I used CCleaner to remove the old registry files, and when I did a search using regedit, I couldn't find any additional registry files involving NavyFIELD/hackshield/ENFUNS Updater
4) I then found this thread, so I downloaded and installed the files as instructed (Steps 11-14), and then launched NavyFIELD.
5) I received the Data corrupt error upon reaching the login screen, so I exited NavyFIELD and deleted the FDList file.
6) I re-launched the game, and the updater didn't download any additional files. I made it to the login screen.
7) I was told to download the Soviet Sprite Patch, so I followed the link and downloaded & installed it.
8) The updater downloaded a 2900KB file, and then let me Launch NavyFIELD. I was then able to log in successfully.

I hope this data can assist in the solution of the problem.

all i have to say is THANK GOD for real life siblings ... or ... the joys of twin systems ...

brother jumped through the data corrupt download/re-install/delete hoops .. took him 3 days to finally get it to work

i couldn't get mine to work .. he came over .. he couldn't get it to work .. after hours and hours of trying and re-trying
i gave up and waited it out .. already lost the better part of that last week of drop event .. and the premium vet bonus

figured they would fix it or remove the whatever it was glitching in the next patch night .. at least restore if not repair
(i'ld rather have the 'OP' russians and french back for a bit ... than not even be able to play at all after 'balancing')

well the patch the other night ... guess what ... STILL got the data corrupt bug ... they did NOT fix it during this patch

so .. tried again and again .. and on day two i said frickit .. took a thumb drive stick over to his *working* machine
and copied his entire SDEnternet folder .. brought it back and deleted mine .. wrote his off the thumb drive .. PLAY

OMG OMG OMG .. i can actually log on ... without re-installing or anything ... OMG OMG OMG ... i can LOG IN ....

FINALLY ...... and i do hope SDE extends the premium one week at least (if not the whole drop event too)
to compensate for the widespread lost of time and inability to play that the 'patch' caused the community



none of the recommended fixes did anything for me ... except trigger a bunch of hacksheild alert warning screens

We spend thousands of dollars for this game .. but this game's modes, such as a game can not make the man. I can not play this game for 3 days. trying in vain Who will provide this account of my prem membership in a kind of a patch did not do .. a new chapter each is experiencing problems. I've tried so many ways is still the same problem persists ..

I tried deleting the FDList file and when I loaded the game there were no updates and the game closed with a message saying a hacking attempt has been detected
