Now don't forget that NF is a business (and I don't blame them for that).
The way it'll go with these new ships is like a year ago with the EBB5.5:
- drop some hints about new ships
- make players salivate
- fix high "price" for new ships for people who absolutely MUST have them first (=> puzzle event)
- many ppl scrape together their olives for these
- first tests reveal ships as not so strong after all
- prices fall with time
People who know what "delayed gratification" means have their own way of dealing with this.
And before there is much weeping and gnashing of teeth here, for the puzzle you can actually get doubles/triples for some pieces, while others are nearly impossible to get.
(I'm actually looking forward to NOT saying "told you so...")
