Lol, Knives? I'm tempted to make a show off your gun collection thread for americans =x lol I bet 90% of the mass gun owners will be from texas! haha :)
i have a couple guns as well but i don't need them right next to my computer, the knives are there for close quarters since my PC is right next to the door, a Mini-14 is not useful that close, a knife and or throwing shovel is much more efficent at that point, besides they also make great watermelon cutters!
will work on some pictures when i have time.
Also LJ nice rig, hope to have something like that after my upgrade. Also do i spy you haveing a razer lachesis? if so how you like yours, i have one myself and enjoy it, having 9 gaming buttons is a great upgrade from my old 7 button imperator.

With the exception of the monitors / graphics card and Keyboard, mine isn't that new. The case was a second hand purchase from a friend, which I want to get rid of for being too big. I run 4gb of DDR2 RAM with a Q6600, which I think i've had for 6 years? Same with the mouse. That said, i'm moving into my i3 Media box now, with has 8GB of DD3 ram. Its still a 1st Gen i3, and is pretty old. Mainly only moving to it because I can't find any Mini ITX Socket 775 motherboards for my old setup.

Its a Razer Diamondback mouse. I don't use the buttons on there too much, I just am so used to the speed and weight of it. Its lasted 6 years, and I will be sad if it ever dies :( Keyboard wise; I've got the Thermaltake Challenger Pro. Its ok. But to be honest, the software that comes with it for the macro keys, and the macro keys themselves, aren't great. The keyboard itself is nice, and the detachable lead is nice. I'm thinking of going for a mechanical keyboard though. The fan, to be honest, is a gimmick.

My Lycosa died last night...The touch pad wouldnt respond anymore so I have no lights/usb/audio from it. Q6600...wow LJ thats the same one im rockin. Bought it in 07 when the G0 came out. I've been thinkin about building a new one alot lately, honestly havent run across ANYTHING that I can't run at full spec. Save for NF witch likes to crash :)

How much ram are you running? What version of windows? 32 or 64 bit? Are you running it in compatability mode W98/ME? Have you disabled desktop composition and visual themes? Are you running it in administrator mode?

4GB of ram Win7 64bit. Yes/Yes/Yes :) lol I've tried every trick ive run across on the forum and short of running it on my work lappy (a big no no) it really runs best in vmware...and uses less resources. I guess the windows mode helps too but its annoying.

@ lj yeah the daimonback is a good mouse, i upgraded from the imperator because it felt a little small in my hand but the razer lachesis fits perfectly, although i had to remap the pinky buttons to be numpad 0 and 1 but they work great for games like BF3. i would not even attempt to use the extra buttons in nf, it would prob die of confusion.

Lachesis had too high of DPI for me. I have had 2 death adders since they we're introduced. Before that I used the logitech MX518 for about 3 years. IMO they have the best form factor and weight of any mouse i've ever used. Nothing feels the same =x
