Mogami CL
Mogami is the king of all CL's so expect attention when you enter a CL room!! ^^ this ship is so versatile you can almost do anything with it. Most people would have to change playing styles once they reach this marking point because it introduces you into a whole new style of gameplay that relies mostly on range and maneuvering. At first you may notice that you cannot see where you shells land but with practice from previous ships such as the Agano(cough, cough) you should get an idea of how to handle awkward situations like this >_<. if you were lazy and decided to ditch the Agano, you're going to need some practice.
Aiming FCS should be familiarized before continuing with the Mogami to achieve maximum potential. "OMG im shooting and im missing every shot that i fire, D: how do i hit a enemy i cannot see?!?!" SCOUTS!!!!(You're screwed if you don't have one of these flying machines by now >_<) Obst's guide explains more in-depth information about leading shots. You'll notice that you have to use leading shots more often after getting into CL and higher stages. A leading shot is basically the time travel of a shell. Try aiming ahead of your enemies, (keep experimenting until you recieve a hit(keep checking the top right corner for any attack points^^) another thing that you might want to try because of the horrible spread once you enter this stage is crossing your bars more or less for a tighter spread.
A simple tactic i picked up when using these great ships is the horizontal/vertical maneuver(crappy made up name by me :D ), basically when your enemy fires, speed up into a horizontal position facing the enemy quickly so you don't absorb all of his shells. Then quickly speed up again back into a parallel position and fire. Rinse and repeat until he's at the bottom of the ocean swimming with fishes. This works great for mid level games as most people don't have scary blockshots.
Mogami/Myoko
Seems like things keep getting harder for us eh? Well expect things to get even harder while using these ships : ( most people dislike these ships due to the horrible gun angles it has "240 degrees". Remember the fun times we had in the Akitsuki?, both ships are exactly like the Aki except even worst angles, sounds like fun huh? if you did well in a Aki you probably won't have much problems with these ships, but if you did i have a few tips that can help you in 3 EASY steps.
First, you always want to keep yourself parallel with the enemy ship. Second Keep your precision while on constant move. Finally the most important thing is to keep your distance and maintain your range.
if all 3 steps are mastered you should encounter little problems using these fine ships.
Mogami has a bit more range then Myoko at the cost of her size, I would recommended buying both of these ships if you have the credits. so you can have both for their specialized individual strengths and weaknesses. Myoko is generally more adaptable in most environments such as all welcome games and it does well in CA/CL games, but Mogami shines more in this role, mainly because of her range but both ships have around the same range. You also have to remember even 5 cm of range can be victory or defeat.
Tactics
The Fainting Ship
Tired of people block shotting you? you can do something about it! look for the blockshot's shadow and quickly click left or right to evade it. Takes practice, but it will surely keep you alive.
Hopefully i can learn more as i play around with these ships a bit ill be updating this thread with more tips and tactics later.
