Hi all,

I just upgraded type 90 x4 to type 93 M1 x 3 launchers, but there was the problem that
I was unable to load any torpedoes for some reason... I had enough space, enough
displacement freed, up-to-level torpedomen, etc. but when I went onto the armaments
screen in the shipyard I could not load any number of torpedoes (not even 0). I tried a
multitude of things like taking out and replacing the sailors, selling and rebuying the
launchers, reducing displacement even more, etc. and I eventually had to sell the whole
ship to get the torpedo loading to work, at the expense of about 20,000 credits. That
was absurd. Is there an actual solution to this loading problem?

Ok, now I think I solved the problem. I just had to remove and replace the scout aircraft
and their bombs. Thanks for the help.

Ah, right. I'd forgotten about mine interference... shows how often I use them. >_>

Hmm... interesting, i didnt know about "free" shot, thanks.

At any rate, i did what one person above suggested:

- i dismounted mines from my planes and then dismounted planes themselves
- nao i can fit 4 torps in each slot! One reload will prolly be enough to save my sorry
butt from time to time. Nothin' like a good torp wall in the face of your enemies.
- i mounted my 5 scout planes and their mines again. Flagships beware >:3

@EmpirePL: Torpedo loading works differently from shell loading -- the first salvo for
each launcher is "free," while reloads use a ship's shell space (armament space at
trainworld).

examples: A Fubuki. Note the 24 space (23 used from torpedoes and depth charges)

A Brooklyn. Note the 0 space available.

There's apparently a bug where ships with 0 armament space (no reloads) sometimes can't
load the first salvo, but as all serious setups with these ships are better off running
AA, hedgehogs, or supports in those slots...

i have same problem with Mogami 1938.
I fresh bought this ship, no sailors on it yet, i have tons of free displacement and i
cant put even a single torpedo in any of the four T slots (all are equipped with type 90
x4 launchers).
And all launchers have 20+ free space!

@styrofoam94 - If the other launchers have the full amount of torpedoes for that ship,
any other launchers will only be able to load zero.

Take off all your fighters then reload the torpedos.

Would you be willing to post a screenshot of the ship/setup?

I tried but I couldn't recreate your problem. I had no trouble
getting several reloads for the launchers you mentioned as well
as other ones. Perhaps try without any crew on the ship just
to make sure the weight is okay ( I know you mentioned you
did but start there). Then post a screen shot. I was able to get
about 12 torps per launcher.

I checked again and again and I had more than sufficient torpedo space and at least
200 tons of free displacement. I'm pretty sure at least one torpedo for each launcher
could have fit.
