  • Barracuda ---> Cachalot reload time.

I recently got my US SS4 (yay).

The US SS3 and SS4 both use the (Lv 58) 21' Mark12 S Launcher. However, I have
noticed that considerable increase in my reload time compared to my SS3. If the SS3
and SS4 use the same Torpedo Launcher why have my sailors suddenly forgotten how
to use the darn thing?!?

Am I going crazy? Or does this phenomenon fall under the same strange logic that you
need a lvl 76 torpedo man to fire a lvl 58 torpedo launcher on an SS4.

Lol, it's okay. Although that means the reload cap is different for every tier then, which is interesting.

I don't nubbles, but I wouldn't mind testing it with you to prove it.

"Actually all subs at lower tiers reload faster than the ones at higher tiers, even with
capped Torpedomen on both ends. that means T1 reloads faster than T2,T3,T4. This
also means T2 reloads faster than T3,T4. You get the idea. Since the better subs are
at a higher level they balanced them out a little since T4s have everything better for
the most part than T3,T2,T1."

I never heard of this before. Do you perhaps have a SS guide which details this out?
I only have a SS1, hence I am not able to test it myself.

I guess 2/3 rate on hits is not bad Its pretty Close to the Early USN Dud rate in the
pacific, It was just seeing several 100% miss in a short time suprised me
If all the subs were like that there might not be as much bb Whining

"captaincvfd - I have not noticed an increase in dud rate with my Cachalot - and I've
never had a 100% failure (worst was 50%). How many Vets/Experts are you running
with? It may have just been bad luck?"

Vets and Experts do not effect going under rate. It is pure unluck.

130 vets 250 experts 50% last few runs was common but overall close to 66% hits
went off so maybe i just had a run of poor luck
but it is hard to sink bbs when first 1 goes under and if you can get another shot 2
go under
