  • UK BB Ranges(Outdated Since BB34 Patch)

ok, since I see too many ppl asking about the ranges of guns and tarrifs info is
outdated and not too accurate I will post my results here.
This is ONLY to compare the range of the UK guns I don't even provide you with an
absolute distance as I do not want this to become a flaming post about nation's
advantages, disadvantages and so on...
I tested every gun with 10 full salvos from my Lion's three guns at max angle,
shooting north, took 1 picture each and let my computer calculate a average
distance.

(And yes - contrary to the common misbelief, the average range is, what counts.
Higher gunners with less spread DO NOT shoot further then low level gunners. In fact, some
stray shells from crappy gunners will fall further ahead then they do if shot by a
blocking gunner - and.. my gunners block all guns anyways ;-)



update :
old gun ranges thrown out since nothing changed from the PBB patch to this one - except
the lvl120 guns.

Hahahaha, that be rly funny if NF was nerfing our ships behind our back, and steel is
wrong :P

Cant we just line major ships up, aim in one direction and fire, then take a screeshot
of where they all land, label which guns were shot from whicheva ship, and post it?
that way, there will be no more disputes about Nerfing/buffing ppl complaining about
range.

It's just funny that quad gold players still don't understand how the physics of this game work.
Oh well just means more food for me by "outranging" them with the same guns.

Yeah, there was no range nerf at all...

Fake "nerfs" like this happen often because of NF physics. People dont use the
physics to their advantage, and thus think that their ship/gusn have somehow
been "nerfed" when in reality its just them.

It doesnt just happen to the brits, people from every nation think they get nerfed
when they dont.

well I tested the RP12, RP12s, trip 16" and trip 18" again and could not see a change in
range.
I shot only 4 salvos took 2 screenies each - but I think that is enough to show that
nothing has changed. I have the pics if someone doubts it.

I'll try it in a minute and post it... I have been using the RP12s on Nelly though and I
didn't notice a change.

Any word on the "rumored" RP12SL ninja nerf? I just read about it in the general section
and I was wondering if the other UK players have experienced the same thing.

If they indeed Nerfed teh RP12SL, I'll forget about my plan to get the Vanny and BO switch
to a Nelson instead!

Pistonwolf, you are completely wrong. You are very much hallucinating, and yes the
triple 16 level 91 L do have a lot more range.

as to the question about IJN 14L. They have pretty much the same range as UK 2x14 L, which
is a bit higher than the quads.
