Indeed. It was by far the most ridiculously overpowered ship in the entire game then, and
definitely the most hated ship by CV drivers..... heh. I didn't buy one until after the
PBB nerf, but it's still a damn good ship.

I never used AA on my AD while it could use the 3.46" duals except for AA missions. I
considered the ship so overpowered it was practically cheating to use it. Likewise why I
have never used an AWed LionI (even though it is fixed now)>

i agree with the ad team i can easilly take down a bismarck and o2 because of my rld
advantage 4 sec .onds =D well it is with my o2 crew

Correct me if I'm wrong, but both ships will have the same crew of 12, 5 plus 7 support.
Also just looking things over, and I might be wrong on some of these, but this is what I
see side by side.

AD Advantages:
Smaller Hit Box,
Much better Turning force(26vrs18)
Better Range?
Higher Structural Str
Better FCS

Gnei 43 Adv:
3k more dp,
Better aa platform?
Saves you remodel cost

Guess my now when it comes to all the EBBs, is the Gneisenau 43 the best of them.

Hopefully they'll let us use the triple Ad turrets on the Gnei43 :D

Agreed. All of the EBBs are a shame. Every last one. 3k DP bonus to a ship we
already have and a corresponding 3 levels higher (roughly). Wish they were sellable
but SDE had to go and make them a completely worthless waste of space.

Who can be sure? havent seen the specs yet and the devs are still testing the gun
options, all they say is that it will have some better guns too (check the ebb post from
tnf)

if they fit guns with a range advantage over ad i would be very, very tempted to go ebb
for a while.

But i really really love my ad. So i will alternate between them.

Update - oh dear, looks like it will not have upgraded guns after all. Still will use the ebb
for fun and the ad for leveling. Ship info is in the shiptree. What a darn shame.
