I started a US cv crew, got 4 ftrs, 4 bombers, all lvl 14, BO lvl 18, medic lvl 14 . and
gunners lvl 15.

My main crew are all lvl 75. US.

Should I use my lvl 75 gunners to train the cv crew or just keep using the lvl 15
gunners?

Im not sure the best way to do this..

i am fully with with stanley. i use locals in my (ijn cv2) and fw .i try to keep enemey blind
by killing scouts and enemey fp's. drag while against t4(which i think is best way to
learn acm in nf).but ur main aim is get bombers which means u can get 2k credits on
bad game and 5k above in good ones.

Or just lvl your fighter to 90+ then place em on your indie and start lvling your BO :D

I dont understand people's logic that using T1/2 fighters will make you a better CV players later in
the game.

Personally, my PCV kills any T1/2 fighters in my way. They are literally food! You will find yourself
extremely powerless when playing lower level CV. Using T1/2 fighters is worse than using a scout.
T1/2 dont have much power chasing down bombers, dont have much scouting ability, and provide
more points to the enemy fighters. So i would advise you to use Local fighters until you can reach
level 75. At least, you can keep your side of sky clear from enemy fighters and bombers. When
training, at least you can feel powerful enough that you can kill something to continue to have fun
with your cv.
Remember never play local fighters by yourself! Always accompany a more powerful cvs. If you are
unable to do so, i would strongly advise you to choose other ships or switch to T1/2.

Regarding becoming a better player later in the game. Go read tactics in forum! This is much more
helpful than grinding pointlessly. And, always make sure that there is planes on the sky even if it is
just one or two.

I would follow the advice of V2C.

If you want to be a good cv driver, you have to play cv1 and learn the ropes from there.
To power level your pilots to a high level and then bring out a cv3 is courting disaster
(flames, and all kinds of complaints from your team mates). A new cv player that brings
out even a pcv will be easily killed or neutralized by a veteran cv player using only a cv3.

Being good in this game is not all about level but learning how to play by understanding
the mechanics of the game. There are also always two sides to a debate- example would be
the seaman. Do your research, talk to players and do actual test yourself.

cheers!

You should also level a repairer and a restorer to put on your R slots as they add
lots of SD. And they can use the single barrel 5"/51 cal mark 15 to ward off rushing

@ vidallo: Elites are hardly necessary. And why would you say wait until after level 75?
The good thing about being lower level is that less is expected of you. Its the perfect
opportunity to get the feel for playing CV without letting your team down. Either way you
must face the fact that you will be food for a long time anyway. Might as well learn now
so you dont end up like a good deal of high level CVs that are level 120 and still crap.

the best way to a good US cv is 1st: lvl ur ftrs evenly. they must be at lvl at all times,
not like the TBs or DBs, and BVE them when they are at 50ish, this will help u when
they reach lvl 75, 2ndly, i dont reccomend playing CV when you are using T2 ftrs, lvl em
till 75 where u get the t3, at least they can last longer, unlike t2=food.
to lvl those pilots, it's good that u started w/ a BB line, swap the some crew and replace
em w/ the pilots, alternating em b/ween lvls. after reaching 75, u can start to be a
competetive CV player against other CV players, as long as they are not too high lvl
than you. last piece of advice, since u went US. it's advisable that the ftr pilots are elite.
to maximize the potentials. that's all and GL w/ the grind. see you in the game >:P
FEED me w/ur planes :))
