strasburg is useless , and that is obvious..

i think we need to take away 1 support slots from remodels: paris,lorraine, o-pro2

pow can keep it cause its uk

now every person with a sound mind would use the paris over the stras any day;

@ Asbuster - If you had to choose which ship is better to play in between the Paris/Lorraine
and Strasburg most people would choose the Paris/Lorraine because it is a more playable
ship and with the extra support slot, If you would say the Strasburg then that is your own
opinion and there is nothing wrong with that.

The Only problem i have like i said with this ship are 1st the support slots, It is stupid that
you have 1 less supports slots that the paris and for a BB player you expect it to have either
the same ammount or more support slots than your previous ship because at the end of the
day your aiming to get the BB6 but have to go back again on a smaller BB for the extra
support you need.

2nd shell spread sucks even with lvl 106 12/11 gunners.

That is why i said i stick and play with my paris until i get to BB4 and for people out there
who thinks i said French BB sucks is WRONG all im saying is that they need to sort out the
Strasburg because in my own opinion it is a useless ship in the French BB line at the moment

Congradulations Olds, you joined the club of people with a motto "If i dont like a ship,
the ship sucks".

Just because YOU dont like a ship doesnt mean it sucks. I played Strassbourg and yes
spread could be better. But i learned to play it and done fairly well in it. Dunkerque has
a worse spread than Strassbourg which makes it LESS playable than the Strass.

Also the Richelieu doesnt suck either for those who think so. Im currently on my Richelieu
and the AA is amazing. Range is a bit iffy but again i learnt to play it.

So people, if you ever think a ship sucks, its beacuse you dont like it or cant play it!
Ofcourse there are some exceptions but the MN BBs are not one of them.

Is it okay for a nation to just have crappy bb's? Why does every new nation need to
have better crap than the last? Seriously.

I expect the Regia Marina to have 5 barrel turrets and a bb6 with 30 inch guns called
"Mussolini".

I must add, for those who don't pay attention. The range is high, while the speed is
low. The range is between hood and nagato, in other words it is the third BB3 with
most range. The OH speed is 40-42 knots. Maybe this is why you don't notice much
range diffrence between the richeliue and the strasbourg.

To say a ship should be range-nerfed and speed-nerfed just because it only has frontal
fire-power is dumb, because while it's a good offensive ship, it's a bad defensive ship
and it's harder to aim with. You have to be more precise, while with a 3 and 4 gun
setup, you don't have to be precise to hit a ship.

I propose this for all french BB's with quadruple guns:

Low fire power ----> good range, bad speed
High fire power ----> bad range, good speed

Heh, I'll respect you all for your oppinion, but i'll have to disagree.

The low ship profile and it's speed makes it for one awesome offensive ship.

That ship and the normandie have given me laughs multiple times from people not being able
to hit me due to such a small hitbox.

It is true that MN sucks at lvl. It's a two-speed nation, first you have to grind until
115 at least, then you can enjoy MN bb3+.
Strasbourg has a low range, but all the power is in the nose so to compensate you have to
rush. It's maybe the thinnest BB in the game (at the moment) which make it very hard to be
shot when he rush you. I never seen any BB 2 shot (if not 3 shot) a strass in this
configuration.

But i totaly agree about the spread when you just reach this boat, at lvl it sucks hard.
IMO, The range is not a problem by the fact that it is not a straight line fighter. Thing
that have to be improved are maybe the turning force and the "at lvl spread". For the
rest, it's a very good ship. Easyer to play than the nagato that's sure.

For the Richelieu, mah, it's one of my favorite BB. The only one that can use AA and AS
with his full power. Like all MN boats, his "at lvl spread" sucks, but it become really
fun at 120. I don't see any problem whit the range (lowest than all other BB4 but still
decent), the only thing that have to be improved is its turning force because he is a
little slow for dodging shells when you rush with it.

The BB6 is a good ship too, he just need a better angle for aa and of course a lil more
range. Currently, H44 (L2 and SY too) are a threat for the charly :s
I don't know if the test range that richardphat has posted is accurate, but wow, i didn't
expect that it was so close to other BB5 !

The Dunkerque is maybe the 3rd best BB (under the Charlemagne and the Alsace) : great
speed, incredible turning force and decent spread with high lvl crew. And get an extra
slot if you don't grind your gunner. If you own the Dunkerque you can forget the Strasbourg.

Have any of you even tested the range? I did a range test for all BB2-BB3.

The range is actually slightly less then the Hood and more then the Nagato. Nagato
has
horrible spread, so maybe just as much as nagato.

True, I prefer the Lorraine and Paris more then the Strasbourg. The spread is the
only problem I have with the ship. With capped gunners, stras bourg is a way better
ship then the nagato for example. Not as great as an o-pro2, but not that bad either.
Have you ever tried the great HOOD? xD

The problem is that the BB1 remods are overpowered. The BB4 on the other hand
deserves a buff. Has low fire power, low range and average speed with great AA
battery. If they give it Iowa range, it will be well balanced in my opinion.

Just a note: All BB3 have bad spread with at level guns. I think the nagato has the
worse spread of all. The PoW L guns are horrible, the nelson guns are horrible, the
hood is decent(acc gunners), the O-proII is decent, and the bismarck is semi bad too,
sodak and nocar is also horrible with at level gunners.

All BB3's have bad spread with at level gunners. At level 120, I would say stras bourg
has an average spread compared with the other BB3's while O-Pro2 has the best.
PoW with N guns is the best, but those are KGV guns, not PoW's.
