I am looking at potentially buying a BMW E30 though. I love how they look on the
outside... but the inside is a bit saddening :( It's the only car I can really warrant buying
on my current income though...
If only we had US car prices :P I can't believe how cheap everything is there haha

@ spagz - My GNX runs a 1/4th mile at a 10.9.
Currently have a list of mods I'd like to do.
Swap out the stock turbo for a Garrett 60-65mm
Throw some Mickey T's on it.
Looking at flowmaster 40 series to put on it.
wanting long tube headers, not sure on brand yet.
Would like to lower it like an inch.
Needs a better clutch, current one like's to slip when under boost.
Would like to get Anti Lag for it.
Want line lock for epic burnouts.
Looking at American racing rims.
A mild cam.
New pistons would be nice.
Estimated costs - 5,000-8,000 dollars.

That GNX is fuggin sweet and clean. Love those cars. The Grand Nationals are still one of
the fastest cars of all time on the road in the 0-100MPH range and considering they are
3.8L turbo'd V6's is quite impressive. Buddy of mine has an 86 GN and with his current
mods, it makes 415HP and around 320 ftlbs of torque and it will hang with my Camaro on
take-offs for a bit. Those GNs (especially the GNX in 87) outran every other sports car
made those few years.

Current mods:
TR 224/236 117LSA cam
Ported 241 heads
ATI F1 supercharger
Moser 12 bolt PRG210 rear end with 3.93 gear ratio.
30lb injectors
SX Performance racing fuel pump
Tranny swap from the 6 speed Tremec T-56 to the 6 speed Tremec TR6060 due to more torque
output from engine.
Swapped the SLP long tube headers for Kooks Long tubes. The SLP header collectors scrapped
the ground too much.
Wiseco Racing forged full dished pistons to lower compression for forced induction.
Wiseco piston rings.

Ran a 10.273 1/4 mile at 121.1MPH.
