  • USN Gun Range Chart [11/23/2009]

Battleship guns updated!

USN gun ranges as found by me. These numbers are not "word of God" 100% accurate,
especially the DD/CL/CA guns which I did many in mass batches.

Battleship guns were tested using a Montana with BB FCS 2 and lvl105 gunners except 12"
Pattern 1907 which obviously were done with a Sevestopol, BB FCS 1, and lvl105 gunners.
Other guns were collected with a Pensacola w/BB FCS1 and lvl97 gunners. I do not have
access to any of the USN 18" guns, thus they are not on the chart. Given it took me 10
months to get around to leveling into my Montana, don't hold your breath waiting for them
to be added.

All guns are measured to within 1/10 of a large marking grid dot. Battleship guns have
greater error, so my information is best guess. For scale purposes, 1/2 of a major grid
dot is approximately the width of a Montana, and 4 1/2 major dots is approximately the
length of a Montana.

i Have a problem on my gun range

when i'm using my SEVAS The gun Range of the 12" Pattern is good

when i'm using my north carolina The gun Range of 16" 50Cal Mark 3 L sucks...

Does 12" pattern has better range than 16" 50Cal Mark 3 L
could some one help with this..... plz

welll.....no.

b65 got a good half an inch over sodak, pretty much AD range.

for hitting power, I,d say with good spread (which i fail to have right now) B65 can still
score about 25k a salvo I'd say. while I've scored 35-40k salvo before with sodak, b65 hit
power isnt that bad...the spread however.

Mark 3L's have nearly three times the hitting power of a B65's main gun.

I think they have about the same range too, or somewhere close.

what makes the mk3 good isnt their range, its the ship they are on. no colo can hit a
sodak that is hit and running at max range. it cant catch it, it cant flee from it, and it
can't range it.

btw i could be wrong but...mk2L range the PBB guns by a tiny margin, im pretty sure, as I
had 5-6 recruit on the BO when going from sevas to colo.

LHE in the dual Mark 2L's will outrange a triple Mark 3N all-day.

The only way you can get these to have the same range is if the dual Mark 2L's have HHE
and the triple Mark 3N's have LHE.

I used to run this setup in my "I'm bored" Colorado.
