AirCavalry

Just got my CV BO to 120 (my first 120) I knew the crew had to be 115 or above to use the 120 ship. However, I didnt know you HAD to fill out all the slots to run it. going fromt he ark Royal, I gained 2 slots. so now I need to get another 2 sailors up to 115. I have 110 IJN sailors. they are the closest. if I level them up can I put them on th UK CV6?

Im so embarassed to ask this, feel like a noob again

The quickest way would be to buy some elite engineers or fighters, sell them at level 12 for 15mil (you will probably get that) but you'll prob need 4 or 5 mininum to get enough to buy 1 lvl 100 + sailor.

The cheaper but slightly longer way would be to level the elites up to around 60 and you can get over 50 mill each for them (Yes Kaisers prices are totally bonkers). 4 of those sold should get you plenty of credits to get 2 crew (perhaps in the 100s rather than 105 but would be a lot closer than you are now.

The 3rd way is to level some from new but this will take much longer.  As for what to buy you'll probably find a cheap restorer or 2 but these are realy wasted slots. Hopefully you have 8 pilots? A CV6 shoul dhave 8 pilots on board.

Good luck and you are not the first or the last to do this.

Ewood

unfortunately, yes. all sailors need to be UK.
You said going from Ark-Royal to Midway you gained 2 slots.
You mean you levelled to 120 in a CV4??
Thats... Impressive

My question/s is/are partially similar to this.

1. What does the Ship Tree level 120 SD Ship thing mean? SD means Soft Defense, but Soft Defense Ship makes no sence of course. So what does it mean?

2. So, you can't operate the level 120 ship unless it has full crew what has every sailor at 115 or above?

3. I remember reading something about these level 120 ships (they can't be sold or something like this). Is there something that can back fire when/if you get one?

1) IDK I already got 2 bb6 but i still don't know what SD Ship means only Soft Def lol

2) yes, for BB6 you need 120 gunners and BO the rest 115+ while on cv 6, 120 BO, 8 (115+ piltos) 2 gunners, a 115+ seaman and rest is supporrt (or depend on your cv6 crew)

3) they can be sold in harbor but it will not give you back the cred and points you use to buy it and what do you mean by back fire? if you aim for the bb6/cv6 you should plan it earlier when your still in ff or  dd stage to get all the numbers of crews needed like the mistake of the player here ^_^

To make it perhaps a lettle clearer: This is a more ore less recommandable setup.

The minimum requirement for CV6 is
- BO level 120
- minimum 6 pilots level 115 (read lately about only 5?)
- all other slots filled with any level 115+ sailor of that nation. Exception: medics cause there are no for some nations (use KM medic on IJN, US medic on UK, don't know about newer nations)
- You can drive a CV6 without any gunners AFAIK
