Set the permissions for all files and folders in C:/Program Files/SD Enternet to all permissions.


 
1.) Right click SD EnterNET in C:/Program Files and select "Properties"

2.) Select the "Security" Tab

3.) Select Users (COMPUTERNAME\Users)

4.) Check to see if "Full Control" is checked, here it is not, so we need to click "Edit"

5.) Again Select Users (COMPUTERNAME\Users)

6.) Click the Checkbox for "Full Control" 

7.) Click apply and your done

(DO NOT DO THIS TO ENTIRE PROGRAM FILES FOLDER AS THAT WILL CREATE A SERIOUS SECURITY HOLE) 

tried. still crashing the same.

Can you PM me your crash log next time you crash. You probably have a different crash source than the one I've been looking at.

it used to only crash at the start of battle w/ test fires. now it also crashes at the end battle screen. MUCH worst since now i can play a whole battle and have to play russian roulette for my xp at the end. and its not my specs, its new since the patch.

looked into this...my version of XP only shows General, Sharing, and Customize when i right click the SDE Internet folder...

no security tab at all...

when i do crash... a windows box comes up to debug or close the program.

crashing almost always occurs when sunk sunk(requiring repair/ship in shadow) or at the start of game soon as i right clik mouse for ship direction.
