ACTUAL LENGTH FEET             NF LENGTH    cm
HOOD                              860                                      10.1
HYUGA                             720                                       7.6
STRASBOURG                   705                                     8.0
KRONSHTADT                   794                                       8.7

Hood imputed scale   860/10.1....scale  85.1 feet real to 1 cm nf

If we then calculate each of the other ships on the same scale as Hood we get like with like                                                                                 NF SCALE LENGTH

HOOD                              860       ( 10.1X85.1)                 860  FEET
HYUGA                             720       (7.6X85.1)                    646
STRASBOURG                   705       (7.05x85.1)                  599
KRONSHTADT                   794       (8.7X85.1)                    740

The other ships in its class are smaller in scale than Hood......thats the hitbox problem ..Nf has actually given Hood a wider beam than Bismarck wheres in reality it was less wide.....

You got it wrong, sorry, man.

Ship size is not supposed to be to scale in Navyfield. As it is one of the parameters of a ship's strength / performance, ships can have very different sizes. If you had been around last year, you would have seen the Italian BB4 nerfed by being considerably sized up.

You have right, but Shackle have right in One importnt thig, HOOD is too big for its tier. It is BB3 with size of BB5 and that is his graetest problem. With italian BB4 was problem that have BB1,5 (like Couty size) but it was BB4.

I thing that Hood is largest BB3 it needs something be best, But it has only it size.

This is why you get 20+ turning force ,going 45+knots, one of the best submergence among the EBB4 for its size.

all fair points... in their way.

but I have been in nfeu an latterly nfna for a long time and in neither server do you see this ship used much at all prior to the ebb makeover (the other ships above are from the hood lvl)....there is something that many players over many years understand about this ship relative to its tier opponents...I think the fundamental issue is its size ..period ...and other tweaks dont overcome that ...put lipstick on a pig ......its still a pig....

BB5 size vs. BEST EBB4 submergence which is worse the BB3, i thing it is not a good trade. It is shell catcher. And submergece help ony against HUGE shell (16+) but not aginst greater number large shell (up to 16). In bb3 or EBB4 you face mainly guns up to 16in.

Look how many users use POW or Nelly and normal Hood, and you fintd thad is something wrong in our state.

All the info you state was valid if and only if that thing is slow as hell, turn like a snail. That is not the case with the information given in the first post such as speed and turning force.

No one plays the stock hood for the spread and a linefighter ship in UK. No one would want to play the EBB Hood because of the false generalization from the stock Hood.

pardon me ..this is not a false generalisation.....I have provided figures that support my view..

The contention that  yes the ship is overly big but we have dressed it up to do something  is convoluted logic which perhaps explains why the ship has ended up where it is......all I m asking is to fix the most simple shortcoming first as a matter of LOGIC,and then work on from there...

to bring it somewhere in its tier  it should be from 8.5 to  9.4 cm long and  a little less beam..

I wasn't talking to you in the last post.

And once again, it's not that hard to read that due to massive hitbox you give a  good speed advantage, turning force and submergence.  I am talking about the EBB4 of course.

The O project stuff is just a confusion issue..forget it in this thread..look at this from a consumer issue..how many hoods where chosen? how long where they used?where they satisfactory for the user?

I suspect not ..what about a poll for HOOD ebb  selectors ???some genuine feedback....
