**CURRENT FOR NF v1.327**

At last, I've discovered a way to fully automate the solutions I have posted previously to fix corrupt data/file issues.

This installer will solve the following problems:

- Data File has corrupted
- ITFPDITM2.SPR file has been corrupted

Download: https://rapidshare.com/files/2401427712/NF_File_Repairv1327mk2.exe

OR

https://www.megaupload.com/?d=SERJI8YU

(MD5 Hash: aeca5bb48b7055c5d1973f5b9f744850  *NF File Repairv1327mk2.exe)

***IMPORTANT***

You must manually select the correct destination folder for the installer.  For this fix to work, you MUST select your SD Enternet folder!

Example: C:\Program Files\SD EnterNET

Notice how it is NOT the NavyFIELD folder.  This is not a mistake!
***End Important***

Windows will treat this installer as an application, as such, it will show up in your Add/Remove Programs window. You may undo this repair process via this window.
The application name is: NavyField File Repair

In the event that you encounter these issues again when a patch is released, you will need to uninstall this repair (via Add/Remove Programs) then download an
updated version of this fix once I have released it.

Questions/Comments/Concerns?  Post away.

Worked for me thanks for the fix.

I would suggest the installer to find the correct path for Navy field and EFUNS Updater through the registry.
I say this because I didn't install the game with default folder name so had some copying to do, no big deal but some people might not get to it.

Thanks for your help =)

This is something I really want to do, but my several hours of attempts at InstallShield haven't been working. Just remember this is my first time using InstallShield from a developing perspective (I'm soooo confused with the technical aspects of it). Unless someone else familiar with InstallShield can help, I honestly kinda give up.

Didn't work for me been fighting files for a month or more. last message 0x1004fc at 0x00000000 which I get after trying to fix corrupted file. I have uninstalled, removed files, removed registry files, restarted reinstalled just to get corrupt file error, install fix and error code comes up. Techs have no idea why it's happening.

Am I understanding you correctly that you receive the "data file has corrupted" error and then get a memory crash soon after? I'd suggest the following:

If this automated fix is not working for you, try doing the manual way. See the referenced threads at the bottom of the original post.

Once you have done the fix manually, turn of DEP for NF. Here are the instructions:

To add a program to the DEP Exception List (This for Windows Vista and Win 7)
============================================================

1.) Open "Control Panel"

2.) Click on "System and Maintenance"

3.) Click on "System"

4.) On the left side click on "Advanced System Settings"

you will be asked for permission to continue, click continue ( It will show up if you
have UAC enabled)

5.) Click on the Advanced tab and then on "Settings" in the Performance area

6.) Click on the DEP (Data Execution Prevention) tab

7.) Put a tick in the little circle next to "Turn on DEP for all programs and services
except those I select" and click on the "ADD" button and browse for and click on
the .exe file for "Navyfield" or any other App in the NavyField folder then click "Open" now click "Apply" then "OK"

8) close all open windows, Reboot

It's great to see that a representative of SDE is posting solutions on this forum. Great work Phrozen, and thanks for stopping by. I hope to see many more improvements issued by SDE in the future.

The sarcasm is strong with this one. :P

Been talking/working with TeamNF Mk2 on this (and implementing this into the client/updater). Still working on it.

@Everyone else

You're welcome.

I was brought to this thread from another recently, Phrozen.
I downloaded this and followed all the steps, still downloaded the 35 files on updater and (you guessed it) data file corrupted.

there is this Main.dll file and MSVCRTD.DLL that says it cannot be deleted when I extract the files to /SD EnterNET
