So yea NF doesn't start after the Hack Shield closes. Xfire says I'm playing it then after the HS logo, nothing happens.
It seems people are having the same problem.
Specs:
OS: Windows XP Pro SP3
Desktop computer
RAM: 894 mb
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 PRocessor 3500+
Graphics card: ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 series

Have you tried re-installing hackshield? I know theirs an update exe at

..\SD EnterNET\NavyFIELD\HShield\HSUpdate.exe

Maybe running that will replace some missing files?

Theirs also a

..\SD EnterNET\NavyFIELD\HShield\Update\autoup.exe

file that seems to actually install any hackshield patchs - so perhaps that might help as well.

It still doesn't run. Does the same thing with Xfire closed.

I had NF running.. windows 7 64. I had it installed under program files... I kept crashing roughly every other game in battle room. So I uninstalled everything, reintalled under Program files (x86)... now when I click on NF Launcher it updates, then when I click play game HS runs, then screen turns black, I get the blue circle NF loading thing, then it exits to desk top

This is a new install. I wanted to start playing this game to enter Xfire's contest.

OK first thing I see it the low amount of Ram you have, I would suggest you close every program you can
before starting the game.

The game doesn't use that much ram. And that isn't the problem. With the low ram I would probably just get lag.

OH MY GOD. That fixed the closing by itself. Now I get a black screen.

That might be the game loading - if the game files are highly fragmented it could take some time.

I know it takes about 5 seconds for the black screen to fade to one of the first images (and then after that it's speedy).
