for dual purpose gun do u mean then can use regular shells + aa? if yes then the 5" 45 skc 41 A cant use anything else then aa shells so then the 5.9s

I do hate to argue with a fleetmember on the forum, but the 5" 45skc/41 A can carry HE as well as AA

I suggest taking fully fledged AA gun if you plan to AA in a GB. Simply, better to be great in AA than have average aa and inefficient at anti-ship.

If your limitation is you don't have AA gunners...then level somr ASAP.

You get a list of all the AA-able guns with their golden angle and shell damage on trainworld if you want more info.

true, the 5"/45 SK C/41 A
can carry both he and aa, i checked it in trainworld and in site and the only A model that can carry 0_O

but reload on this aa is 2.24

yeah i was thinking for europa actually (when I get there), as i love having AA on my CV, also thinking of unusual setups for my BB since km bbs hit like girls, so if i carry just ap, could carry dp guns to deal with smaller ships XD

Only using AP in the main gun of a BB? Do you need me to point out why its a crap idea or you can think back on it on your own? Also for AA use AA gunner, as I said. The dedicated AA gunner are that much superior. And losing time using the T slot to kill a DD is dumb. Take one salvo from the main guns, and its done.

Other than the 11", Km really isnt that much of a peashotter you know. H44 do around 40k, h39 34-35k, o2 30-35k (that one is OP tough) bissy 25-26k, O1 and gneis have 6 shells, but massive damage per shell for around 20k salvo.

And at the lower tier, KM compensate its lower salvo damage by superior spread and reload. So they get full salvos, and deliver them faster. You'll find with the BB2 especially that your damage output will match other nations at level dur to their inablity to fit all their shells in the target. Safe the fuso.

well when up against an AW because of the low max angle, and the massive time to change between bind types, it is inevitable that I will be killed by it, and against the BB line, I have seen no change in damage, and my overall damage per battle has increseased from about 30k perbattle to about 40k per battle

first of to aingel if ur talking about an at level not super ebve gunners then lets say for the km bb1-2 the spread averange is then by the damage of around 5-10k attack on a good salvo ( at level not super ebve gunners )

and how does the bismarck have 5-10k less damage then o-pro2 when its only 1 15" shell less.... the damage per shell of the 15s is not 5-10k at all more so around 1-3k per shell

and if ur ship can fit it use the km 40's if not ill say wich it was ingame due to not remembering the name of them now

There are only two ships on the KM line I could see wanting dual purpose guns on. Emden and Moltke. All others have no need.

Don't come on the forums and say that and expect everyone to just praise you. It won't happen. The generally accepted setups and uses are accepted for a reason.

For your own sake, I wouldn't say what kind of ship or what tier you are in. I would have left this out completely.

As for unusual setups, saw an H44 with two turrets and O2 guns. Bounced some shells, but in the end 1 game it resulted in 30k attack and 72k damage, and another resulted in 22k attack and little under 60k damage. Understanding the basic concepts and mechanics of this game makes it significantly easier to 1) play better 2) win more and 3) level faster.
