Does the torp skill determain the reload rate? Or the reload skill?

I was always under the impression reload determines your reload rate, but torp ability determines the access to torp weapons.

But either way if anyone knows anymore, I don't think torp reload is hard to cap.

Anyone?

Old info is very very easy to find.

Torp Skill determines torp reload speed.

So why get elite reload for AA gunners? Or does torp reload and AA reload just happen to work completely differently?...And yes, this is probably old info, but so many people round here put forward a few different theories , some accurate, some not, which is where the confusion creeps into the "old info".

Discovering knowledge for yourself is part of the fun playing this game. No it is not straigt-forward as there are out-of-date info scattered across the forum. But do your best and enjoy!

Many people put forward different theories because most people don't care much about finding the information. There is no confusion into the old information, there is only a lack of research.

Ya, it's not straight forward even as you say yourself, even after reading more than most would, that's why it was asked. But like so many others on this forum, just be an unhelpful 'ol git just so you can gloat over your own wonderful words..................... you're the man! Like that?

Any wonder why this game is dying, full of cranky unhelpful grouches.

If it pains you so much to come onto this thread- not to help, how about next time bug out and don't bother?

OK, how old? maybe you'd like to label the old threads that are accurate, then the old ones that are inaccurate, and the old ones that are not so accouate, and the new ones that are accurate, and the not so new, but not so old ones that are rubbish, and so on.............. :) Just making a point.

Rehor

Either of you - or, basically anybody in NFE:

Please produce three instances of threads that informed you that reload ability affects torpedo sailors.

Here's hoping . . .

Here you go guys. It is kinda old, but its still gold. Before you use the information be sure to have quick searched through the forums (search button), whether it still applies or not.

Good luck (:

For example which information has been changed
the stats of AA gunners are nowadays ACC/RLD.

Using this information:
http://www.nf-guides.com/sailors.htm#a2

AA gunners should not get AAW, its a disabled stat. Acc and reload all the way.

Pilots; the info there is incorrect in two ways; one, it was incorrect when it was done (it was fighter = offense, bomber = defence, aircraft = disabled). But it got changed a few years ago, so now, it is aircraft = scouts, fighter = fighters, bomber = bombers).

The repair stat is good on everything. Restore is similar but the cap is very low (900SD).
