Very nice, that long event.

"A minimum of 1 attack amount or shooting down 1 aircraft is required"

THIS IS GOOD.

 

I think, though, that SDE is pushing it a bit by spamming Super Elite sailors for 150 coins.

You'll be causing major inflation. Might be counterproductive, as it could demotivate more people than those that'll buy and level them.

The best way of combatting leachers is just to simply put an attack/personal credit requirement for getting coins.

let's say if you will 100% get a coin per game.

how many game you will need for one super elite? 150s.

how many game you will need for whole crew?  2100s.

 

if you will really play 2100 games for the crews, it would not be called inflation. 

I guess this event is to give the free player a chance to play, so that,

the game does not become pay to win.


Game environment seems more healthy than those 300% exp - 400% exp event.

So, don't worry.

Basically, it will require no effort at all, to get 2100. Leechers can just move around and do nothing for 2100 games.

They still have to get at least 1 attack. They move around and do nothing for 2100 games, and they'll only have the login coins to show for it. Leechers still have to deal with crashing and room waits, which will necessarily increase the amount of work needed to get there.


Another important thing to note is there's no awesome top tier prize. The best you can get directly is a bunch of nice (untradable) sailors. The 500 medal prize is no different from the 75 medal one - same coin to medal ratio. And the rest of the prizes are just vanilla. Even more interesting: some of the best prizes are the least expensive - those point and credit ones are actually quite enticing for many. And again, the expensive versions have the exact same coin to reward ratio as the cheap ones, so all they really do is reduce the amount of clicking needed.

To get a high end ebb/ecv, even most players with no life will need more than just the medals they can get from coins. With premium, it'll take a bit under 14 battles per day every day, assuming an honor medal awarded every other battle, and just over 19 without prem. That's not too far off from many prior events.


And best of all: no annoying "random" rewards or stupid gimmicks that screw things up.

Note the rule change it is no longer a given that you will receive a coin after every battle. It has been down graded to "a chance" what a shame now it isn't about just playing the game it's a about lucky.

What do you guys think the vet conversion base chance is during the week?

I would have thought the last column applied to both weekdays and weekend, but according to my conversion tries this is not the case. Does that mean over the week the vet conversion base chance is unchanged, i.e. 100%?

30 conversion tries with low-level sailors (level 65, 109 vets) under premium and with 400% base chance should have netted me at least 10 vets, don't you think?

It's unchanged until tomorrow. It's a badly designed chart, but it's clear that, if a vet conversion boost had applied on weekdays, there'd be an additional column.

IT SHOULD BE 1 COIN PER BATTLE WITH A "CHANCE" TO WIN 2 COINS IF YOU WIN....NOT A CHANCE TO WIN A COIN PERIOD!!!......IE 20 GAMES IVE PLAYED TODAY AND 2 COINS FROM 20 GAMES AT THIS RATE WHY SHOULD I EVEN PLAY?????????????????????????????????????????
