  • New NF coin event

Very nice, that long event.

"A minimum of 1 attack amount or shooting down 1 aircraft is required"

THIS IS GOOD.

I think, though, that SDE is pushing it a bit by spamming Super Elite sailors for 150 coins.

You'll be causing major inflation. Might be counterproductive, as it could demotivate more people than those that'll buy and level them.

SDE wants to cheat a good rate to persuade people to attend events and buy premium?

Anyway, I won't participate most of SDE's "have chance" event. It makes nonsense to me.

SDE has the right to modify or change  or cancel the event anytime without notification.  it lookslike SDE was feeling that the event was to easy, and players could reach the highest without making much effort. The idea of event is to be a challenge .

Yes, those nice chanlleges cause an drop of active accounts from 3000 (end of Jan.) to 2370 (last month). I am only HA/HD active anyway and can quit the game any minutes since there are plenty of games to play.

If they want to make a challege, then start with it. Changing an event from middle is really ignoring.

You hit the nail on the head, SovetskySoy. It's all about trust. When people are not sure whether an advertised boost is active or not, something is seriously amiss.

And, Humberto, your "argument" of "nobody is being forced to participate" is absolute and utter tosh. People participating, on the whole, actually increase revenue for SDE, don't you know.

And you need to show me the games that are as riddled as this with crashes, lags and desyncs. No, I don't find those in NF's immediate vicinity. No messed up events, either.

Promoting the game doesnt mean you are obligated to play their game. You are invited to play, if you like the game, awesome. If you dont, then too bad, SDE will keep promoting. SDE offers their users, a shop section. You are not forced to buy. It gives you the option to adquired to level up faster and have better performance against other users.

People participating in the event can be a good thing, but at the same time, depending how 'good' the event is, can be a bad thing at the same time. Let me explain.

If SDE wants to give a random item drop, and the chances are too high, it can be a bad thing for SDE. giving away too many items, is not really losing money, But more likely, incomes SDE is not getting.

' Showing you the games' it would be against forum rules' , however you need to know, that no game is perfectly designed. Just give it some time, and you will remember my words.

I wish you good luck with your philosophy.

Now, I'll be busy grinding my Saipan and my Myogi.

Yes there are plenty of games out there. But let me tell you this.

Other games also can change their event. Sometimes, some games creates event without having enough time, to test it. Their event gets so hard, the majority of their community spawn their forums, asking to nerf their event.  Their event also has technicall issues, as Navyfield. They also have crashes, dsyncs, one thing online gaming has in common.

I am pretty sure navyfield is one of the worst game in terms of crashes, dsyncs, horriable management and badly designed events atm.

I think all these events have been bait. Its all about the $$

The event encourages players to spend money to get the extra bonus associated with a prem account, or try to capitalize on boosted vet conversion rates.

They put an event out, players buy in and see results first day. Then the event is changed.

I just don't understand why they change it. It's not like players leveling up faster costs them money...

Edit: nevermind...

'Chance' rate is better than I thought, at first I was just getting unlucky, but now I'm about 17 for 28 games...

The actual rate feels around 50%, but you get two on wins...it's not that bad at only 4mins a game =/

I'm pretty sure they had it impossibly low, then tweaked it realizing how disincentivizing that was. Nobody seemed to be getting them when I tried early after the tweak. I also mysteriously got zero honor medals as well. Both, however, had moved up to reasonable drop rates, though still much lower than the first day, by the time I got back from work.

The drop rate was pretty bad yesterday (10-20%).  Then, it was good early today (30-40%).  Now, it has been 0% for the last 2 hours.  I am beginning to think that there is a limit like 18 coins per day like one of the earlier posts suggested.  I checked/refreshed the web-page after every game.

I am not complaining but only to share information.

Well, I just won a battle and got +1 coin....

So theres either a limit, or the stupid thing is bugged still...

Antimony

Actually it looks like they are adjusting the coin drop rate/coding "on the fly" since there was a couple hours of 0 drops for me also, then 5 or 6 games in a row with drop before stabilizing. Have not determined an average for the day yet.

1 2 3 4 5
