on the subject of extending the trade rooms time limit, i think is a very good idea, 10mins is just way to quick. Most games are running for 5-10mins , so people are only looking once in a while in trade area. presonally id say the time limit needs doubling at least  to 20mins, so theres more chance most players will see theres a trade room open .
I was trying to sell a few bits just last week, i had to remake my room 4 times, and finally on the 4th time i got to sell something. After the 2nd time the room went down i was already thinking to myself, do i bother to keep making these rooms. When i REALLY want to sell/buy  something i would normally try for 1hour or so at a time before giving up and going back to battle rooms, just to make sure everyone had seen my room was open.
also remembering the old days when trade rooms didnt have a time limit. I used to trade a lot back then, and often i would not see any one in my room for at least 20-30mins, then the last 30mins of my usual hour selling/buying it would get very busy. 

I can't undestand people on NF at this matter.
We have a trading channel.
We have a trading área.
We have a trading sector on forum.

Why the hell you still want to fill the Screen with WTB/WTS/WTT spam messenges?.

This is a naval battle game, not a business simulator.

This, and "multiple join into my fleet macros" just make a chaos before any battle starts.

H.q works awful. Trade system works awful. Rooms in trade area are 10 mins. What eslse to say?
When the game is under the maintance what are you doing with it? After every maintence amount of lags are more and more.
Now I have ping 1-15 and speed 50 mbs but I havestrange freezes for some seconds. At not once during the battle. And not twice. Do something with game or close it. It's boring 

I think, whoever entered additional channel, should be automatically rejoin that channel after relog, meanings the setting will be saved locally, Instead of everyone default to auto rejoin /e 1.

this will help not just the trading to maintain, also player group.
