I would like to see the day when 8CV rooms are possible again; I think it leads to more balanced games, less complaints about vision, etc. It also had a good ratio for power in CVs, as right now a single FTW CV can sway the game far more than say when a room has a single BB6 in it. I made a post recommending they make a new PCV1 that would basically be the ECV (similar stats, if not same stats with different sprites so as not to shaft the people who earned their ECVs) to encourage lower level CV play (as playing a CV1-3 sucks. A lot...). Basically it would function as the CV equivalent to a PBB, which I think whichever way it would be implimented would be a great ship.

I ultimately just felt like I had less games where I lose before the game even starts back when there was 8CVs. If one of my CVs crash at start, 1 out of the whole 3, now I feel like I'm as boned as back when the Flagship CV crashed with GB2s.  If    "less CVs-->faster games=more experience over time=better"    is a true statement, where the bottom line is more exp, then wouldn't it make more sense to have just "more exp-->same games we wanted in the first place but more rewards by the end of the day=the same but better"? The more enlightened of us know that that would be a stupid idea, but here we are all accepting a lowering of standards anyways.

I see it like this: The US government recently met regarding healthy food choices for students in public schools, and one of the "conclusion" they came to? "Let's keep meal plans the same, but consider pizza a vegetable choice. That's healthier, right?" I see few dissimilarities here.

Of course, if I simply had a magic switch to force it to go back to 8CVs right now, I wouldn't. That would get us stuck back at the first problem and would basically be refusing to accept that the CV play portion of this game isn't what it could be. I'd like to see the next project the Devs working on (after/between completing the Harbours and some balancing issues that are still sitting cold on the table) would be to work on making the CV aspect of Navyfield simply more sustainable. Adding a CV exclusive event, no matter the particulars, isn't sustainable. That's why we've had several CV events and yet still wait for CVs far more than anything else in rooms.  It's nice for the duration/couple weeks afterwards where everyone is hyped up, but this flare up always eventually gutters out.

Edit: anyone who would say   tl;dr   rather than take the 82 seconds to read this and properly discuss the course of this game can go fall down some nerf stairs.

how to let SDE know our suggestion? or will they take our suggestion?

i just think if we talking in here and SDE dont know what our think. it's a waste of time.

the solution is  we keep GB1 into 6 CV and make GB2 into 20BB and 8CV

Let the player to choose what they want to.

SDE need to know the result this is a good solution to see which setting more player like it.

Its fun to play with CVs, it gives you a bigger battle with more variables, but if getting it means people have to wait more, I don't mind playing with just 28 players.

More games played, more exp/hour. People should start exploring other type of battles besides 20/6/120... and that is entirely up to the hosts.

Shared Exp might be a little less of course, but players who improve their skills won't be needing it.

I feel the Key for faster games, are hosts determined to use the options available. SDE have made moves and given options, its people who have to use them.

Sometimes when I feel like it, I only play GBs with 28 people... in 2 minutes we are up and running. Think about it.

Exactly.

120% every 18 mins is nub.

100% every 13 mins is uber. <--- higer ratio

i especially hated when ppl would go for 120% during the 200% weeks... that was frusterating explaining it.

I remember a time long long ago when I was a mere DD that we would be waiting for BBs because CVs filled instantly.

When I finally got my first CV with my friends we would struggle to get into matches. Because they filled so fast.. Nowadays it's the complete opposite which is sad.

I feel the problem is with the exp, sailor death rate, and probably the fact that T3/4 fighters obliterate low levelled T3s and lower.. The poor little level 50 - 75 CV has a hard time keeping BBs happy and getting much credits when his fighters get eaten up. Sure he can bomb, but then comes the flaming about not fighting. He could use locals, but then that doesn't sustain air space long enough.

The point is it is a hard life for the lower levelled CVs. More exp is needed and something less tier based. A BB1 could quite happily help his team and fight a BB3+ if brave and smart enough. A CV1 is pooped when a CV3+ pops up. Sure he can learn to micro and all the other little tricks, but that isn't easy. T3/4 ftrs are just so much faster, stronger, and have much more defense than T1s. And locals don't have enough fuel to maintain the air effectively.

With the paitence of people in this game these days, low exp, inability to hold your own and the pure flaming of trying to level a CV is off putting enough for old players, let alone new ones.

Maybe its the time to make it 4CVs, I have seen 3 room filled with 20 BBs waiting CVs.

nyerkovic is right, we sould just try to play w/o CVs.

I was going to say go 8 CVs.  The CVs that are out there are sometimes CVEs or 1-2s and since blitz is almost nonexistant having the extra CV spot would allow for their participation without feeling shorted because 1 or 2 of 3 is CV 1-2.

Having another CV would also help cover mistakes that every ship class makes but are more visible with CVs because there are only 3 a side at most.

Also, hate to bring this up but losing 1 of 4 to crash isn't as painful as 1 of 3.
